  • This version makes me think of a more sophisticated verson of "Follow the Sun."

  • muito maneiro

  • Var nästan bra

  • This version has a little bit more of the "original" sound of the Beatles, particularly the guitar parts when Paul's not singing. (I know there's a technical term for that, I just don't know what it is. :) )

  • i love the picture at 1:27

  • Theyr not some garage band thats why they revamped it,, a thousand artists couldve created something like this in the sixties Only the BEATLES couldve created the finished article with it's multilayered musical stamp. Left in this condition it could easily have been mistaken for anyone with its batman style organ and generic guitar solos notwithstanding it's superior vocal it's safe to say that when they rearranged it to include the middle 8 they did themselves justice+evry1elsea favour

  • @jaspurr77 i respected you but i only loved you when you mentioned batman.

  • I can play this version but not the other one. great song!!!

  • I love this version ♥ And the original too of course

  • I wish I could buy this version, and I wish that I could buy an album of Beatle "prototype", working versions of their songs. That would be one very interesting CD...

  • @KaptKan1 can't tell if stupid or sarcastic ;:)

  • Interesting that McCartney abandoned this spectacular version, superior to the released recording in my view. An absolutely stunning vocal. But he was the composer, so what can we say?

  • this is right speed of rhytm with full organ sound...real garage sound

  • hmm eleven person has pushed the wrong button

  • best version of this song ever

  • To fodgd- How fkn stupid of me, please forgive me!

  • I like this version.Has something close to Caribbean music...

  • McCARTNEY IN FINE VOCAL FORM!

  • @snowfare i think there's no mccartney without 'fine vocal form' haha :P

  • YOUR gay!! dicek18

  • @dicek18 you are an idiot

  • @dicek18 What if he isn't...?

  • @dicek18 thats why hes engaged to a woman

  • @dicek18 fuck off

  • @dicek18 and you are the gay asshole

  • @dicek18 i think you're the one you're saying. But you're not a beatle.

  • @dicek18 He fucked more women than you fucked men, and god knows that's a huge amount

  • I THINK I LIKE THIS VERSION BETTER

  • this comment will randomly recieve a lot of thumbs up

  • @Sapardi yup and whose fault is that

  • They use this as an example and all the documentaries about how Paul died in the car crash, when this was recorded almost a year before he supposedly died.

  • The version released on Rubber Soul may have been entirely played, sang, mixed and recorded by Paul.

  • @basenjib123 It sounds like that to my ears as well, expecially the guitar.

Apart from the organ, which we now was played by Ringo.

  • @basenjib123 NOOOOOOOOO

  • ラバーソウルに収録されている方よりこちらの方がいいですね~

  • This version is really nice,I particularly loved it,as someone said previously,it does make you relax and yet I'm looking through you did not lose its romantic broken hearted sadness

  • @isabellecarvalho23 It's simply revoleresque.

  • @isabellecarvalho23 It's simply revolveresque.

  • Proud owner of all 3 Anthology albums hehe

  • the anthology version are great !and the alternative versions every bit as interesting as what made it on the album...in some cases even more so!..eg no reply take 1,2 ; yes it is; and i love her...and the spectre-less original mixes from the let it be album (which were closer to the film and the original idea) :)..i like this version better than the album version

  • One of the very best Beatles alternate takes

  • Why are some videos working and some not. Is it just mine?

  • The Beatles are just the BEST!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Almost up there with tthe Kinks this lot. Almost. Any true music fan knows the Kinks were better.

  • @Underground906 i can't tell if you're trying to be funny

  • @armstrongbrosband Was being sarcastic. I hear that kind of comment a lot from Kinks fans. Taking the piss a bit out of that.

  • @armstrongbrosband He is trolling, don't mind him

  • @Underground906

    keep on dreaming dude.

  • I don't like this version. The beat and tempo are much better in the album one.

  • @ntwiles yeah same, so much more feel good!

  • @bertiedump I prefer the Beatle over both

  • I'm surprised they junked this version in favor of the other one...it's alot more unique than the album one

  • I Love This Version !! Better than the official In my opinion. They Should Have Left if this Way

  • This is just one of those song you find yourself singing. Even though you haven't heard it in a month.

  • @ProgsPotter i would hane known if i havent been hearing it every day :)

  • this is music

  • they should've kept the guitar solos dammit! Who plays them McCartney or Harrison?

  • @young5ever Harrison

  • Beatles in their prime could have farted and it would have been a hit

  • nice

  • i like the faster version they did

  • @musterdable Any ! Every! All !

  • I think the Anthology version is better than the one they ended up with, but the version here seems slower than the one on my Anthology CD.

  • I like this version of the song, and the picture are great

  • @PepperUTube As-tu écouté Oh Darling! take 26? C'est brutal!

  • @TheCatalanBraveheart celle où à la fin il semble ne plus avoir de voix et susurre presque ? oui, d'ailleurs c'est dommage cette partie, mais le début il est plus "brut" que la version finale, en effet

  • A master piece! The Beatles unplugged.

  • I wish,that I was born in that year.heeem,it can be a good time.

  • this is different

    who's at 0:27?

  • @violinroxs101 It's probably Jane Asher, the girl Paul McCartney wrote the song about as they were growing apart in their relationship

  • Comment removed

  • @violinroxs101 sounds like ringo chiming in with some harmony at 0:27...

  • @violinroxs101 Someone who's looking through me I guess.

  • @Charlottn

    Lol. xD

  • This is the best version of the song!

  • Great song.

    Proud to live in Liverpool.

  • I LOVE THE BEATLES! Their voices are so pure and sweet. Their lyrics leave you hanging on every word. Their instrumental (spelled wrong i think) talent is flawlessy amazing. Put it all together and you have a mezmorizing band that captures you and wraps you up in a song like a loving embrace. The Beatles were remarkable. They've made their mark in history. Anyway, who doesn't love the Beatles? If you don't, got take some mental heath classes to get your brain back in order.

  • Sounds kinda reggae. but you know the Beatles, it has to be more Rock, more their style.

  • yeah, the released version is a lot better. this is still interesting though.

  • This video has helped me through a recent breakup. It really showed me that she was a different person, I'm almost glad she broke up with me. Thanks Beatles!

  • Even when this is a great version i think that the Rubber Soul is better

  • Very interesting. I have to say I like the 2nd version better.

  • i like the version they released (on the album) better, but this is just sort of more genuine, I wanna say. although I like the gutair riff in the album version. (:

  • check the date it was uploaded

  • 0:45 Nice face Paulie!

  • Is it sad that I only know of this song because of Beatles Rock Band?

  • @normandale1987

Well at least you know of it now. That's what is nice about Beatles Rock Band. It introduced many songs to people that otherwise wouldn't have heard them.

  • why does this song have so many views? Usually beatles antholgoy songs only have like 2 or 3 thousand views.

  • @TheUglyDuckling123 - because people like it? :P

  • @djthalie and it's an awesome song.

  • @djthalie because it kicks ass?

  • @djthalie as good as it might be... it could be that The Beatles have had so many Anthologys and the few people that go through then all see the views, but this anthology has been come very popular because people have know this as much as the original.

  • @djthalie people love it <3

  • @djthalie What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?

  • @SOUPRUN01 Go and chop down the ttallest tree in the forest with a Herring!!!!! NI NI NI!!!!

  • @SOUPRUN01 north american or african?

  • @TheUglyDuckling123 My guess is it's because it's a very different take from the album version of the song, so for a lot of people it's kind of a revelation. I remember hearing it for the first time off an album back in 1984 or 85, way before Anthology came out with high-quality alternate takes for numerous songs, and it just blew my mind. I didn't notice that the middle eight was missing for months :D

  • @TheUglyDuckling123 Because this ska (pre-reggae) version is AWESOME!

  • @TheUglyDuckling123 first the video uploaded at 2006 and there arent so many videos of this song like other songs have

  • @TheUglyDuckling123 Because this version has so much more emotion than the album version..

  • @TheUglyDuckling123 Because it was featured in a Ricky Gervais movie (Ghost Town I think it's called).

  • @TheUglyDuckling123 I know,, but you know what? It's Cool!

  • @TheUglyDuckling123 because break ups are on the rise? :)

  • HAHA! & Yer NOWHERE! Great slowed down with that nice groove goin. Great images too.

  • I like the faster/ 2nd version a lot better, but this is still pure genius!

  • i have an other version

    much faster on rubber soul

  • Oh my god. The anthology's like hearing all the Beatles songs for the first time again :)

  • Aww Linda McCartney :(

  • Interesting, I never knew this version existed. Still prefer the other version though.

  • such a great tune...love it!

  • Hi.

I have a strange question to ask you. My friend watched this video and loved the guitar at 02:39. He asked me if I could paint it for him. Sadly enough, in the video it's too small for me to recognize details. Do you still have the picture, and if so, could you send it to me? If it's ok, that is...

    Alex

  • this song really chears me up when i'm sad, my hamster died 23 mar

i was really sad but when i listened to this, then i forgot all the sadness

    (sorry if i spellt wrong)

  • 0:16 :D BUT STILL WEIRD

  • i like the first version better but still great.

  • @jabbaTHEHUTT3 actually...this is the first version :p

  • Great song! Very relaxing after a hard day('s night) :)

  • @masterbeef91 I love the joke there!

  • @masterbeef91 lol

  • I grew up on this version, so, of course, it's my favorite.

  • I love the lyrics to this sonq ! lols ..

  • Love it! Bought Beatles Anthology about a month ago. Now, I just have to watch it. Thanks for posting it.

  • i love the beatles and i like this version but i could just make it a little faster

  • this song always make me happy

listen to this and think of nice things that have happened!!!

    (sorry if i wrote wrong)

  • Oh this is great

can't belive i've never hurd it befor, i really like it!

  • exelent song, all songs are beautyfull its incredible but this is the best band in the history

  • im doing my media project to this =]

  • nice.

  • wow great version

  • love the guitar solos in this version

  • Actually, this song makes you wanna grab somebody and dance.

  • Wow! The intro in this version sound exactly like what The Who would later do in Magic Bus! With this intro version being totally different than the one they actually went with, you have to wonder if The Who had ever heard this version when they wrote Magic Bus.

  • Incredible version. Have always liked this one even better than the one they went with. It's got a slower, funkier groove.

  • 1:07 epicly fantastic and cartoonistly funnilly amazing

  • I HAVE to get Anthology.

  • Brilliant!!

  • Only the Beatles are better than the Beatles .

  • @caine1961 AMEN!

  • @caine1961 you're genius

  • @caine1961 I used to make a joke this way when I was kid. "Only John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr better than The Beatles" :P

  • @caine1961 that creates a paradox that would make them sublime O.O... i couldn't agree more: "Only the Beatles are better than the Beatles" :B

  • @caine1961

but niether of them are as good as The Beatles

  • @caine1961 Fuck, that's deep...

    Amen.

  • omg that abbey road pics is that real or photoshoped

  • Photoshoped for sure

  • chill song

  • i love this,

    ghostown ha

  • why tell me why needs to be in there..its my fave part!

  • I bet somebody could speed this up a little and add the 'why tell me why' part so then you have the whole version with the killer rhythm track... i know theres at least one beatle fanatic out there with the software and skill to be able to do that

  • I actually would love it if someone added the why tell me why part but I love how slow he sings the lyrics in this version. It sort of sounds like he is teasing someone the way he sings it.

  • Thank you so much!!

This is one of my favorite Beatle songs and I never knew how they laid the track.

  • Oooh. I like it.

Makes me wanna dance.. should have been on the album.

    :D

  • Welll your sad life makes me happy at least...

  • Sounds like The Beatles doing The Rolling Stones. Love this version. So blusey and groovey!

  • its way slower then the origanal. now dont you look like an ass

  • No I don't look like an ass but your response was that of a jackass. So what, I don't like this version of it....

  • This is the original, which was rejected a few days after it was recorded. They thought it would be better if speeded up.

  • Im partial to the original.

  • this version is better

  • I love the other one a lot more, this sounds like a song in a Shrek movie imo, but this was recorded a day before my birthday:)

  • this is too good they were from another planit

  • The more i listen to this version, the more i like
