  • Sounds like something George Harrison would write. xD

  • @BonJoviBeatlesLedZep You, good person, have just won the internet.

  • @coolface22743 Thank you.

  • This was my first exposure to the Beatles. Years later, I heard "Hey Jude" for the first time, and when they got to "better, better, BETTER, AHHHHH" I was like "akdhfkashdfkjs I've heard this before!!!"

  • Cookie monster teaches kids how to put food in their mouth but some how slap it out.

  • I like how they make fun of THE BeaTles.

  • oh i remember this video! i was a little kid when i saw it

  • They sound more like Oasis.

  • @GuanoLad Yes i believe so. This music is oasis but its hey food music.

  • @GuanoLad Probably because Oasis were hugely influenced by the Beatles.

  • They just made this song one million times awesomer.

    Ze power of cookie prevails!

  • i just noticed that the singing bug thingy is left handed just like Paul! :D

  • have some hippie lettuce. this is the politically correct monster who doesn't eat those bad for you cookies.

  • @hooglaz this was made in the 70's, long before the whole "veggie monster" rumor, which is completely false.

  • Cookie monsters like Paul Mcartney

  • I will make a video parody called "hey dude".

  • @theRecONcile Beatallica beat you to that lol

  • judging by the way he ate, did he swallow any of the food?

  • Why can't educational shows for little kids be like this like they used to be? Sesame Street is the bomb, man? I'll love it forever.

  • Win.

  • How hilarious Sesame Street was SUED for making parody of Hey Jude which happens to be this. They were also sued for the parody of Let It Be as in Letter Be:)

  • @KungaMatata But this is clearly a parody!!! u can't be sued for that!!!

  • @Champerbutt well it's not my fault. even i feel bad about that.

  • it's too awsome.... but where are the cookies!

  • So that's how I see the chours in the song XD

    OM-NOM-NOM--NOMNOMNOMNOM--NOMNOMNOMNOM- HEY JUUUUUDE

  • @mnsmiley99 In today's world sesame street would be sued due to child obesity, not because they covered a Beatles song.

  • @Klingsvideos If where on Avenue Q here's who would sing it

    Cookie Monster-Trekkie Monster (obviously)

    Paul-Princeton

    John-Rod (with long hair)

    George-The Newcomer

    Ringo-Nicky

  • omg..i remember this from my childhood..all contributing to my fondness for beatles today..

  • <3

  • i love sesame street since i was a lil kid... i am currently 15

and i still love them(: but im sorry this is a insult to the beatles ): this has bring me shame

  • horrible parody! in 1984 sesame street was sued because of this cover!

  • @mnsmiley99 I really doubt that. Of course Im not the one who keeps up with what children's shows are being sued. =p

  • @qbkellar12 im reading a book about beatles songs and it said that sesame street was sued

  • @mnsmiley99 yaaay!

  • xDD!

  • the Beatles originally wrote this but later decided to use the other version

  • YAYY COOKIE MONSTER :3

  • i wish people would stop thinking to one sided about things is for little kids really its not bad its good its spreading the Beatles

  • I HATE SESAMESTREET cus you will never parody such a great song

  • LOL

  • "me eat cookie, me bang snookie"

  • 15 people have never eaten

  • Lovely!

  • Now I'm hungry >.<

  • way to encourage emotional eating and stuffing down your feelings with food Sesame Street! Wonder why kids are obese? lol your gonna need your sarcasm meter on here...but seriously...it's not a good message to send kids at such an early age.

  • 14 people don't like food :(

    which saddens me

  • if i were paul i'd be laughing my ass off. LOL!!!!!! XD

  • I like the part when they talk about food.

  • Japanese Cavemen in F# minor!!

  • This is SO weird! I would say it's insulting to the Beatles, but it's so HILARIOUS! They got into Sesame Street! EPIC. WIN. :D <3

  • click 1:53 fast and it sounds like cookie monsters retarded.

  • @mcsnowman11

    He IS retarded. :)

  • If the guitarist on the right is left handed, that must be Paul, the one playing the piano is John, the other guitarist is George, and the drummer is Ringo.

  • WIN.

  • @mujjuman they only disliked it because they already were.

  • hahahhahahahahhahahhahhaah :D

Oh I'm crying with laughter !!!

    I love Sesame Street !!!!!!

  • Great! They even thought of Pauls left handed guitarplay.

  • @MrsJeffreyMorgan Macca played the piano in this song, wasn't it? And George wasn't left handed..

  • Great! They even thought of Pauls left handed guitarplay.

  • why didnt they sing it to the tune of the original song?

  • The Beatles!

  • i think the message is: consule yourself by eating...

  • eat whle youre depressed? any wonder theres a higher obesity rate in our generation?

  • Story of my life

  • They fail at singing, the beatles ROCk

  • Who the h*** decided to do this to one the GREATEST SONGS EVER!!!!!!!!????????

  • @brisaunders According to the Muppet Wiki, regular writers Christopher Cerf and Norman Stife...

  • i am entirely too amused by this

  • dang! i am 12 years old and i am waching this??!!! lol jk i love the beatles and food! and i love sesame street

  • Paul McCartney would be most pleased.

  • Would he ever! Chris Cerf, Frank Oz and Richard Hunt are damn good guys, and this tune reminds me: I haven't had lunch yet. (imitates Ernie's trademark laugh)

  • @stephenhkovacs Mmmmmm!

  • Chris Cerf and Norman Stiles are fabulous when they wrote this.

  • Yum!

  • Or even breakfast.

  • @Angie2343

Too bad Paul McCartney never cameoed on Sesame Street and rocked with The Beetles...that would've been interesting.

  • cute

  • @ambidextrousme OH MY GOD LLOOOL that is the best thing I've ever seen in my life!! thanks for pointing that out!!

  • I can be a 100 years old and I will still watch Sesame Street.

  • Me too I hope they come out on DVD soon

  • I think this is one of the songs of my early childhood. A song deeply engraved in my mind.

  • ME TOO! I've known the lyrics despite not having heard the song for years! I had it on cassette as well, that version was better than the Hey Jude!

  • I blame this song for my emotional eating and weightyness,,,

  • Honestly, it's kind of catchy. Back when he WAS the Cookie Monster.

  • @horrorfan1930 And he's STILL the Cookie Monster!

Pay no attention to the rumors and lies!

  • @horrorfan1930 He still is.

  • Awesome Beatles parody!

  • I have a knew found respect for Sesame Street now.

  • WHAT IS WITH THE ANTENNAS?

  • They're "The Beetles" get it. LOL

  • the "better better better better"-part is the best!

  • does sound like tom waits hahahaha!

  • Holy shit it's Tom Waits!!

  • That's amazing.

  • This song is making me hungry

  • Both Richard's and Chris's voices here have traces of Paul McCartney's voice in there. Combine them, and I bet you'd be pretty close to it.

  • MASTERPIECE! :) :) :)

  • MONSTERPIECE! :o)

  • Haha This is great!! Sesame Street + The Beatles= <3

  • hey jude the beatles

  • nom nom nom nom nom nom lol

  • Bah. Apple Records = not FTW. Of all cultural enterprises, you'd think that Sesame Street would be able to get permission to use the actual song. But nooooo, AR seems not to have given them license. Jerks.

  • You're missing the point - they didn't do a parody because they weren't able to do the original - they did a parody because it's hilarious - if they showed Cookie singing Hey Jude it wouldn't have made sense.

  • omgg this is classic!

  • God this show scared me so much as a kid.

I used to think the cookie monster lived behind my aunts towel rack and would kill me = ] haha

  • lovely

the beetles and cookie monster jojo

  • Those were the days; which I VAUGLY remember.... Got letter B? (or any more Beatle numbers for that matter)? Dont do tv like they used to....

  • My God. they've even got Paul's guitar facing the right way! xD

  • lawl

  • The parody of The Beatles (Fab Four) 1968 hit, "Hey Jude".

  • This vid was amazing! I just wish Sesame Street kept these Beetles. They were so great with their skits. Especially thier song about the letter B. If Mr. B of the the Letter people came to Sesame Street he'd love to see them play their songs!

  • when i was young i always wonderd were the food went lolz
