You have real talent understanding what a dog needs and how to teach them! I'd love to hear more about this process. I do this a bit with Sirius, but I maybe going to fast because he likes to complain when I have him wait longer than a few seconds (though he stays still, he barks his big dog bark). Staying after the toy has been thrown has proven to be a little harder for him but he's getting it.
I'm glad this dog found her way to you! You're helping her find a better, happier life!!
This is similar to what I'm doing with a pitbull a young girl (young girl, she's in her early 20's). Anyway, his name is Bones and he really likes to play with a frisbee! He has to sit or down BEFORE the frisbee is thrown. He is getting very good at it, and is learning to wait patiently for the okay and the throw. The next step will be to sit or down with a stay, throw the frisbee and wait until given the signal to go get it. He is very smart and I'm sure he will pick up on it quickly.
Really good idea... If I could find the proper motivator for Bella, I'd give that a shot... Maybe it's time I start looking for a toy she really likes, eH?
@courtneyj4657, I'm always sad to see my foster dogs go & I do miss them, but I know that by letting them go I can then help another dog in need, and I know that they're all going to great new homes! :)

Yes, Dazzle is my dog - I definitely still have her! I have two other dogs of my own, too (that's one of them is barking in the background of this video).
I haven't kept any of my foster dogs - they've all gotten adopted pretty quickly!
very awesome. Gave me some great ideas to work with my new BC boy :D. He lacks some self control in certain areas. I hope she finds an awesome home! she is a very happy girl !
Wow, awesome job. Honestly to take in a dog that was homeless and work with them like you do, to make them a better dog, so they wont end up in a shelter again, is just amazing. 5***** amazing job!!!

You are so nice! You are my dog role model! When I grow up I want to be a vet! I will hopefully get my puppy in exactly a month and 1 day!
