@josh54739 Thank you. People seriously have no respect nor the patience for nature. Quoting tuttt9 "they are the most obnoxious vile and disgusting creatures on the face of the Earth". That's exactly how I feel...about humans. I feel like people don't understand that we need to share the land with animals-> they were here first :P It's like talking to kids: "Mom, I had the remote first!"......."then share the tv"->we teach kids this but adults can't seem to apply it to reality.

I spent several years in Massachusetts and whole flocks of them would regularly march onto the highway. You couldn't just run them down, as it would do too much damage to the car...

@tuttt99 they're gorgeous. I love geese. I love all birds and their poop. I respect their seemingly obnoxious behaviour because it really identifies them. It gives them personality and to me, it's what makes them special.

@USAamericaUSA I never said they went extinct... but due to over hunting and loss of habitat, their numbers diminished and they were thought to be extinct but some were found in 1962. Now they're thriving to a point where they have become pests. Canada Geese do indeed have a law protecting them from hunting but their excessive droppings in public areas like parks and golf ranges have pissed off some people so much that those laws have come under attack.

@nddlj What are you saying its illegal to hunt them ? There are laws on it, like any game animal, but it is certainly legal to hunt during different times of the year though. I hunt them, but I live on a lake as well and I make nesting areas for them and feed them corn.

@stormyweather2009 Oh really. Look up Canada Goose Hunt. There are millions of hunting videos for them. It is VERY legal in the fall and winter.
