@youngvisionaryJD To be honest, Ron Paul's philosophy is very destructive. Most economists agree that the economy will destroy itself if a true free market is installed. A good example of this is what happened in Latvia, they combatted their recession in a Ron Paulish manner, driving down wages and creating unemployment to make the economy 'competitive' again. This has led to a 25%ish decline in GDP and incredibly high unemployment. I don't believe this is just nor sound economic policy.

The attacks on 9/11 stink to high heaven of an inside job orchestrated by the Bush administration, or at the very least a major cover up. My personal belief is that it was a false flag attack used to expand the size of government and fund the military industrial complex. @youngvisionaryJD Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich are in many respects on the opposite of the political spectrum. They just agree for different reasons on foreign policy. Ron Paul is different from other Republicans in that he actually believes the free-market gospels and wants a very small government, other republicans believe in what economist Dean Baker called a "conservative nanny state", which aids the rich into becoming richer.

@youngvisionaryJD To be honest, Ron Paul's philosophy is very destructive. Most economists agree that the economy will destroy itself if a true free market is installed. A good example of this is what happened in Latvia, they combatted their recession in a Ron Paulish manner, driving down wages and creating unemployment to make the economy 'competitive' again. This has led to a 25%ish decline in GDP and incredibly high unemployment. I don't believe this is just nor sound economic policy.

I understand that a true free market dog eat dog society is terrible (like the Industrial Revolution), but I think Ron Paul on a less extreme level would be good and his Austrian economics are much better than the Federal Reserve's counterfeiting scheme. I think Kucinich would be great because he would balance Ron Paul's policies so that it wouldn't go out of control

@youngvisionaryJD Read some about 19th century economic history, when there was no central bank and banks could just print money (as long as they had the gold). This actually led to what you describe a huge "counterfeiting scheme." I agree that the Fed had a substantial role in creating this crisis, but so had private interests. We need a central bank, but we need a central bank that's responsive to the people's interests.
