I first listened to this after buying 'The McCartney Years' 3-DVD set almost two years ago, and watching a videoclip of it run off the first disc in the background...it is an irresistable listen and a gem amongst other musical gems from Sir Paul :-)
That's probably because Paul had a lot of voices, even during the course of the Beatles. He changed his voice at will depending on how he wanted it to sound. Very few Paul songs sound alike.
It never really was the poor mans holiday though was it? You'd need a wedge in your pocket even back in the 70's. (I went twice as a kid from Liverpool). Once on a street outing on a double decker bus and once when my uncle took the whole family on a coach with his retirement pay off. Mums and Dads and kids. There was about 40 of us. It was Great! Nowadays you have to take out a loan for a day out there.
I love Paul McCartney♥

Early 70s Paul makes me feel all melty inside. Ugh, he was brutally hot.

The "Paul Is Dead" theory suggests he was buried in Blackpool. Although I'm not a believer in it just thought it was interesting...

Probably on some bootleg... both are unreleased. But there are short videos of both on The McCartney Years.
