Might I suggest something, your 1-1/2 inch PVC pipe, instead of having to dremel it away, they make a "Thinwall" Version of this, may be something your local hardware store carries or not, but anyway, this could save you some serious time.Perhaps worth a look into.."Bring a caliper if you have one to the store and check the ID "inside diameter" and OD " outside Diameter, and compare it to your 40mm Grenade... you should be very satisfied..That is all

I would rip threw that chalking gun with a hacksaw in 30 seconds flat. I'm pressed to think of a better tool than a hack saw for that task. except maybe a sawzall or exhaust cut off wheel. But a vise and hacksaw is a force to be reckoned with, and makes a nice cut.

i made one last night it came together pretty easy but i had a consistant problem on the hinge not wanting to stick on the caulking gun. if you are planing on making one i recomend super glue or a heck of alot of hot glue and electrical tape.

Golf tees, after some use, would either break or get worn down to much. A bolt would probably work best, metal if it could be worked in.

@stressedviewer yes it can. you just have to make sure you get a grenade shell that can hold paintballs, like the S-Thunder co2 grenades. they have a big opening on the top that can fit anywhere from only 1 (mini shell) to up to 6 or 7 (large shell). or you could use 6mm mini paintballs and fit hundreds.
