The spiker has 40 shots to the smg's 60. The spiker also fires way slower and a single Smg will kill a Single Spiker point blank. However the Spiker has an insane melee hit cuz of the blades on the end

interesting points and theories. I think they made the new weapons just for customization. What is the clip capacity of the spiker/smg thing? if its morre than the smg than thats probably why
