His undergraduate degree was in liberal arts, and then he acquired a law degree (the fact that it comes from Harvard doesn't change the fact that it is still only a law degree). My point exactly, outside of the world of Academia Obama has next to no experience in any thing, and has very few accomplishments. I went to a prestigious school, John McCain went to a prestigious School, hech even GWB went to a prestigious school. Going to Harvard, Yale, etc ... does not make one qualified to become president (Nor does having a Political Science degree ... that is a liberal arts degree,and worth about as much as a history degree ... good for writing books, but not much else).

Both Bush and McCain graduated with low grades and bottom of the class. Obama graduated with honors at the top percentile. While class rank and knowing a lot does not mean everything, it is ridiculous to say it means nothing.
Political Science applies to politics. In consideration that this election is for President which is about politics, that degree from his other collage has relevance.

Political Science is not a skill. It is a very basic liberal arts curriculum and not a serious course of study or qualification for anything. Saying Obama is more qualified to be president because he has a political science degree is like saying your kinder garden teacher is more qualified to write a novel than Tom Clancy because she has a degree in English. A liberal arts degree like poli science or English, are not degrees people brag about. They represent a sub par collegiate education.

Well the rasmussen is actually at 51-45, bub. It is expected though, the DNC just passed while the RNC didn't even start yet Obama didn't get an 8 point bounce anyways because he was already at 46/47 while mccain was at 44/45 points so it was more like a 4/5 point bounce. Palin comes from a state that penalizes oil companies with oil production royalties and gives part of that fund to each Alaskan in a yearly check. They say every Alaskan has earned a piece of the oil action because everyone in Alaska helps create the "in ground" value of oil. Everyone knows that oil companies have the sacred right to collect the in ground value of oil even though they do not create that value. Palin hasn't repudiated this socialist practice.
