I can't answer for her, but I can tell you that your leading question is more of a statement of your beliefs/faith than a question. The experience is exactly like "religious ecstasy" that some people claim to experience. It is one of the, if not THE, most powerful thing you can experience in life. Sex is a far second.

I can't give you that kind of advice without knowing you better. If you feel capable of analyzing yourself, trust your heart. If you have fear or doubt, no matter who planted the seed of disinformation, do not consume.
Not sure I feel ready to analyse myself at the moment, I tend to shy away from my issues a lot. A psychedelic would probably not be best for me atm, I even get depressed after a night of consuming alcohol a lot of the time. I suppose that's normal though because it actually is a depressant after all haha. I do however support the cause of free and legal use of entheogens if they enlighten people's lives.
I think that with this new cycle (the beginning of the sixth day in the Mayan calandar) a larger portion of the population will begin to break out of the mundane reality propicious to consumerism. I love Jesus, too, regardless of whether he was God or not (I tend to think of him as a great teacher and Prophet more than as a god). And, believe it or not, my own experiences with psychedelics REINFORCED my understanding and love for Jesus and TRUE Christianity. Entheogens can be useful spiritual tools, if they are used responsibly, as "NeuroSoup" clearly does. Psychedelics can be a compliment to one's spiritual life. I think that, if you were willing to look past your dogma, you'd agree.

The experience is exactly like "religious ecstasy" that some people claim to experience. It is one of the, if not THE, most powerful thing you can experience in life. Sex is a far second.

Not sure I feel ready to analyse myself at the moment, I tend to shy away from my issues a lot. A psychedelic would probably not be best for me atm, I even get depressed after a night of consuming alcohol a lot of the time. I suppose that's normal though because it actually is a depressant after all haha. I do however support the cause of free and legal use of entheogens if they enlighten people's lives.

I think that with this new cycle (the beginning of the sixth day in the Mayan calandar) a larger portion of the population will begin to break out of the mundane reality propicious to consumerism. We are becoming empowered. But...no matter what we are conscious of it doesn't matter. We are pure undifferentiated consciousness. Entheogens help us see that, so that's why I like them. By carefully controlling set and setting during entheogenic trips, and then,later, replicating those same conditions without the entheogen, it is possible to enter entheogenic mind-space without the substance. For full instructions,read "Salvia Divinorum", by Shaahin Cheyene. Its like meditating, but with the prior help of entheogens setting down the mind pathways to follow .

I guess why I am speaking in a somewhat negative way of them is because currently in my stage of spiritual development I have sobered up and I'm focusing on the now, unaltered moment to moment existence. I did some minor damage by using drugs. I feel it can effect moment to moment perception negatively. I'm not enlightened and in a sense I was just regurgitating. Peace.

I love Jesus, too, regardless of whether he was God or not (I tend to think of him as a great teacher and Prophet more than as a god). And, believe it or not, my own experiences with psychedelics REINFORCED my understanding and love for Jesus and TRUE Christianity. Entheogens can be useful spiritual tools, if they are used responsibly, as "NeuroSoup" clearly does. Psychedelics can be a compliment to one's spiritual life. Cory, I've read the bible straight through 2 times cove to cover. Have you? I spent about 3 years in intense bible study. I have read a compilation of all of the legible dead sea scrolls. Have you? I have read many of the 'biblical' texts that were kept out of the "bible" because they contradict the "chosen" texts. Have you? Don't throw your ignorant bronze age text quotes at me. I have read them already.

You will never reign in hell. You will be in a fire burning. You don't realize what you are saying. God created us to have a relationship with us. Sin separated us from God and Jesus bridged the gap so we can have a way to get back to God. Heaven is paradise and the things we love to do on earth (as long as not sinful) we will do in heaven..Fishing, skiing...It's all there. We will worship too, but that is not all we will do.
