Nice tutorial thanks just a couple quick questions, why does it have to be .png and what is exporting something? Like the differences between exporting and saving. Thanks ^^
png's work well with the iPhone in general (better than jpeg or something else), and I know from when I used to have a jailbroken iPod, that the icon file is always Icon.png =) With illustrator, when you save it saves it in an illustrator format, but exporting gives you the option of png.
