Mine says 1985 and has the triangle which if some people don't know it means made from demilled military rifles and the quality is much better in these.Some have the triangle and arrow.I tact mine out its accurate haven't had any jams put a few hundred rounds in it i'm very satisfied with it.Usually the wasr's that people have trouble with and complain about are older models.Which alot of the older wasr's are crap by what i've seen.If you get one buy a newer one.And check for the triangle.

Now that's a good accuracy video. I'm glad to actually be able to see a grouping (though I admitedly skipped the talking), numbers are hard for me to visualize. I was thinking about getting an AK platform, now I think I'm fairly well sold.

All WASRs are made from used surplus parts. It is possible that only your front trunnion is from a 1965 kit. The receiver is built new for the WASR. Romania is exporting their AKs (and parts) and PSL Rifles. From what I understand, they are going to another weapon system that fires a NATO round.

The parts are old surplus parts from the 60s and 70s but all of the receivers made were single stack then modified during the 1994-2004 assault weapons ban. they were made for US use only, no country would make an AK for use with single stack mags for their military. some Century guns are made with US made receivers from Nodak spud.

Just got me a Wasr 10/63 for $450+tax. Make year on mine is 1968. It is in excellent condition came with the tapco trigger, no mag wobble, front sight was perfect, and seems to cycle pretty smoothly. I will be doing a cleaning of the gun, and polishing some component as you showed in your earlier videos shortly. I cant wait to take it to the range this weekend!

@052187ful Well get one now if you can,because no body knows what the future hold,with the future elections,get a wars 10/63 and due the upgrades if you want or leave it stock,the thing is getting your hands on one now,don't go by the negative hipe on warsers follow my videos on the fix ups and you should be ok,I was at the range this weekend and fired 600 round of everything hollow points,soft points and FMJ'S with no problems at all no miss feeds or jams,get yours u won't regret it... later.
