I love J.P.Morgan's little saucy commets.God she is so beautiful I love that naughty smile of hers. She was 30 years ahead of her time. You rule baby! You were the reason the Gong Show hung around as long as it did.
She is retired what city I don't know. The last appearance on tv i know of was Hollywood Squares 11/3 to 11/7/03 with Jamie Farr.I think she released a CD of her greatest hits 2005 if I'm not mistaken.I heard she hasn't lost any of that spunk she had doing her gong show days.
The Bait Brothers also appeared in the movie, Melvin & Howard. They were contestants on a fictional game show called "Easy Street" hosted by Wally Mr. Love Williams (Robert Ridgeley). It was a cross between The Gong Show & Let's Make A Deal.
Mary Steenburgen's character was on that game show, where she won furniture, a piano & $10,000 in cash!
Wow. Somehow, I didn't know that Homer and Barney's act was based on a real act. And I've never seen the 1980s Gong Show, which already looks better than the most recent one. Thanks a lot.
Oh man. I remember this one.

Yet, that kind of talent seemed to get a bit old a decade later.
