Yeah sure Original was pretty neat. AoE3 is decent. But I just hate how cavalry is nearly never used as much anymore. Nobody flanks, and it is like it's lacking in something but I just can't point out what it is.

AOE3 cav is pretty much useless. Melee cav get downed by bayonets, missile cav is just 2-pop weak infantry. They can kill art, but nobody lets cav reach artillery. They really need some kind of bonus against light infantry, or a pop cap reduction.

I think its fine the way it is...... by the 1700s, cavalry was really getting to be more trouble than it was worth for armies. Which is why no1 really used it after the american civil war. Well, the polish did against germany in ww1 but those guys got cut to pieces by machineguns

Ummm.. The cavalry units were used up until WW2.. They were used as faster infantry units.. Used to swarm the enemy faster than they could retreat. And no.. The Polish did NOT fight against Germany with Cavalry.. They didn't have time to react..

And again, you are correct about the polish not fighting agianst the Germans but that applies to WORLD WAR 2. You did not read my post completely. I was referring to the FIRST world war. You all are wrong except to the first replier, and yakoview's first comment. Poland wasn't a country until after WW1. Poland did send cavalry at the Germans, and did put up a fight, but if you're being skull****** in the face, and bumrushed in the back, you can't really defend yourself. WW1 seen a lot of cavalry action. In fact, cavalry was used extensively during the offensive of 1918 which caused Germany to buckle and collapse entirely. Russia did poorly because their commanders suck balls.
