I think that if we keep the focus on praising JESUS instead of entertainment, we will be doing what HE wants us to do and that is making a joyful noise and giving GOD the upmost praise. Remember the song "What if GOD is unhappy with our praise"? I think they did a good job being sincere in praising GOD.
The Bible says "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord.." NOT unto His people. We should stop making excuses for bad singing in church. We dont make excuses for bad singing the secular world, why should we do it for people singing at church?
What are you taking about? They are making a joyful noise unto the Lord. Just because you feel that they are not making a joyful noise from your standard doesn't mean they are not giving praise to God. The secular world is for entertainment; the spirit world is for praise and worship. That's all that matters
This song is done in the wrong key, wrong tempo, and wrong time signature. I applaud their sincerity because at least arrange the song differently next time.
It sounds like the choir is doing the Houston "Chopped & Screwed" version.
this took me back!!!!

I apologize for making such an uncouth comment about the people of God. God knows your heart and he is the one you are singing to please.
Please accept my apology, understanding that I was in a silly mood that went too far!

No such thing as a wrong key. You teach a song in the key to fit YOUR group.
