Nice Receiver, I've got a LX-72 myself and its a really good sounding amp. Its great for movies but I still prefer using a dedicated Stereo amplifier for Music. Does this receiver have the Microphone for tuning the MCACC?

Hey Mike, those feet aren't just for decoration! Like any electronic, you need good airflow to dissipate heat, so the air comes in through the vent at the bottom of the receiver and the heat vents through the top. If it weren't for the feet, there would be enough space for air to adequate enter the receiver from the bottom. ;)

I have had a pioneer elite for about 3 years and I love it. Before that I had an aragon system. I got 2 boxes with that system, one was the amp the other was just the receiver. I got rid of it because whenever I shocked it with static electricity, I would have to open up the system and replace a part.

Bought the VSX-921 two months ago and it's really awesome. Differences are more control over Zone 2 speakers and one HDMI port I think. Love the MCACC calibration system. Saves me some money for other tech goodies. 😁

wow, recievers have come a long way with the iPad or iPhone app. I like the microphone to set surround sound. Thanks for the tip to go with a apple airport express for wireless internet to the receiver
