David Russell is a gift to everyone who loves the guitar....either to listen or to play. Look at the amazing strength and fluidity of his left arm and hand, and the control of the right hand...he is almost all on the nail in some of this. Yet his technique is almost totally hidden because he has mastered the instrument so well...it makes you focus on listening. An inspiration!

Sorry to contradict anyone who has written, but this makes me want to quit guitar and take up another instrument. I will never come close to this quality of expression and/or virtuosity, and I feel like leaving it to the masters.

That makes no sense, because if you used that logic then you would not play any instrument because there is masters for each instrument. Music is about making yourself feel better or for achieving goals even if so minor

When I first encountered this sonatina in 1982 played by David Russell , I became intereted in Jorge Morels compositions.

Conbinations between the two geat musicians took us to the new exciting world of giutar.
