NB: I have nothing against tas videos, i find them very funny, indeed, but there is big a difference from a tas and a speedrun beacause the speedrun doesn't use tools.

My best time beating mario 1 is 6 mintues 59 seconds ran through the game with warps of course and power ups never had tried without powerups it took me 17 years to get perfect lol what a boreing life eh that was childhood in the 1985

I got a question, I hope someone here can answer. I downloaded an emulator (zsnes) and a mario all stars rom. However I have a problem, sometimes when I run and jump mario won't jump, keeps on running. It seems as if the emulator can't take 2 buttons pressed at the same time. It's really frustrating, has anyone had this problem??

I think everyone has it. There's no way around that. Try mapping the D-pad to WASD and ABXY to the arrow keys. The space button is also independent of the rest of the keyboard, as are the arrow keys

Umm as some of us can see, if you use an emulator to play SNES ROMS, you have more things to play it and tune the graphics of the game, with extra stuff like filters, plugins and similar graphics options that gives you better colors,texture etc ... also some things like sound, have their own plugin, there you can choose and modify the audio settings, as well put better audio for the gaming.

And some slight changes on the gameplay, but its hard to even notice those; like starman jumps higher on the snes version then it does on the nes (try level one the starman of the nes keeps jumping forward while on the snes it bounces back against the ? block).
