i'm in the marching band at state so i was there literally 10 yards behind him. i'm not the biggest scotty fan in the world, but this video doesn't do him justice. he did a great job, just had to be there to get the full effect.

Honestly, he did better than I expected, he did a pretty good job. :) And for those who think he said "no jose", ask yourselves why he would say that? He didn't, he said the correct words, it's just the way his accent sounds that made it sound slightly different. Anyway, he kept it simple and didn't try to show off his vocals like most do, which is what makes this great. Just his amazing voice singing our amazing National Anthem. Nothing more, nothing less, just Scotty McCreery. :) :)

i listen to many US anthems and i can say i like this one the best, scotty sang from his heart he didn't try do what other singers do show off they vocal range scotty kept it pure and simple and that's how i think all national anthems should be song , just pure simple and heart fel, that's just what i think.
