If youe get an archive error, it means that you need to go into the variables where you see the preos and hit F1 then archive. A little start hingy should appear to the left of it. do the same with the other file.

I love this thing, but why the hell are they still so damb bulky? its 2010, this thing should be thin, colapsable, and in color, hell a PSP go is smaller and packs a hell of alot more processing power

to open the preos thing at 2:58 you need to be in the calculator mode, otherwise you go back to the apps screen.

I used the TI connect program found on the disk that came with my calc, or you can find it online. Just connect your calc and Choose TI device explorer in TI connect, then you can just drag over the files you want to send to your calc. You will then have to manually archive the files you want to install ( archive command found in catalog)

I figured out why you can't open the preos browser. You need to press shift and on and the same time.

I have a Black TI-89 and I have no fucking clue how to put games on it... The only imput it has on it is a little thing at the bottom that is like the size of a input you would put earphones in...

is it a ti-89 titanium? it should have a mini usb plug on the top above the screen

@SikBoi3 you have a TI-89, not titanium. It has an input a little thiner than a earphone plug, i think as the input of my old TI-82. That type of TI-89 has a serial connector DB9 to computer. If you don't have a serial connector DB9 in the rear panel of your PC, maybe you can look for a DB9-USB adapter. I hope that can be useful. Greetings and good luck!

Press 2nd then Var-Link then a file explorer should pop out. Select the files you want to archive by pressing f4, then hit f1 and select archive files.

BTW i showed you how to archive files on the computer , not the calculator. It is at 1:55

This is to everyone:

1.If you cannot send the files to your calculator, maybe the usb cable is not compatible with your calculator.

2.For those who cannot access preos. Make sure you archived stdlib and preos, and try to re install pre os by typing in preos("uninstall") in the main screen. Then try installing it again. Hope this helps.

You need to use the Ti-Connect Program to send files to your calc.You cant "drag and drop" file to your calculator.The Calculator does not pop up in my computer. The ti connect link is in the description

maybe the istallation of preos failed, or was corrupted. Try reinstalling it.

1.Go to the home screen

2.Type in preos("uninstall") {With Quotation marks}

3.Hit enter. THis should uninstall preos.

4.Reinstall preos. type in preos() hit enter.

5.Turn off your calc then turn it back on.

6.press shift+on and scroll down to the "main" folder.

7.Press enter.

8.Now you should be able to acess main and select your games.

Go to the file explorer(2nd varlink) and fing the pong files and delete it by selecting the files by pressing F4(this selects the files you want to delete) and then press F1 then delete
