No, not at all. As soon as I get the rats in the room, the snakes wake up and sit in front of the tub waiting for it to open up (well... most of them)
thanks. 2 of them are Sterilite 1756 by Animal Plastics. The tubs are 32qts. but I do plan to upgrade my females to 41qt tubs once they get big enough to breed. The smaller one is also by Animal Plastics and can hold 32qt tubs or 15 qt tubs.
I pull on their tails to make them seem alive. Sometimes some snakes can loose interest on their food if they think it is not live so a couple of pulls on the tale or taps will make them stay in feeding mode. I have one snake that if i dont pull the rat at all he will stop constricting it, drop it, and not eat.
WOW Hey! great looking puppies there, and well done the feeding techniques, congrats man!
And the vid editing is very good (pretty cool also with this audio-swap tho).
Crap! I would shot the 5 stars for this, but you know the new rating way...
...so ... thumb up for sure and this vid is stuck into my Herp playlist !!

Why do you tug on the rats after they strike it?

Thanks, I would've been better if the audio by KoRn was still there.
