I've received sad news this week. H passed away on March 23. RIP and you will be remembered as having the most beautiful Juke Joint I've ever visited. I called it Paradise JJ and I believe that's where he is now. Barbara

Slave descendents of Mississippi, however Virginia had the most (where our people came from). Sadly,Virginia's history is disappearing like fall leaves. Yet, it can still be found in places like Charleston,S.C.,and Savannah,Ga.,and off the beaten path. Interesting, I think.

Well I am from Hollandale, MS. The name of the club is The Rainbow aka H's Club. The owner is L.C. Hutchins hence the nick name of the club "H's". People may laugh but you cant find clean down home fun like this in the big cities. You may have your occasional tussle but that is about it. Just down home fun having a drink and listening to good music. A real juke joint. Also, just as Tramm1180 said, home of the best hot tamales. Hollandale, MS. I DARE YOU TO TRY IT OUT ON A SATURDAY NIGHT!!
