Hayne has more skill, Inglis is a stronger runner of the ball. Inglis always plays well in the big matches, however Hayne tends to be more inconsistent. Slater trumps them all due to his unbelievable ability to perform at his best in just about every match he plays in. However if they all play at the best, there's not much separating them.
They are both incredibly good players, when other good players make them look good, Hayne with full confidence is nigh untouchable, but only notice his higher impact whn Parra are actually playing well.
Inglis is athletic, and strong. And is a smart player, which makes him a more whole and complete footballer than Hayne, when they are both on top form, Inglis takes the cake

Inglis could play in the forwards, he has played every position in the backline except halfback. Both players have speed, agility, size and skill. Pound for Pound a player of Inglis' size shouldn't have that level of skill, speed or agility. I say Inglis, pound for pound because his size gives him the advantage over Hayne who is bigger than he looks. Hayne though is a crybaby and a wimp also, Inglis is not.

hayne is a fullback either put the number 6 on or play as a fullback. he is going for 40/20's when thats the halfbacks job and instead of setting up tries just hit a hole and trust the teamates to do the rest. Hayne needs to stop trying to carry the team when he actually needs to give them a bit more credt and not just bathe in all the glory. He kicked one out of 4 40/ 20 attempts while the other 3 went out on the full

Hayne has more skill, Inglis is a stronger runner of the ball. Inglis always plays well in the big matches, however Hayne tends to be more inconsistent. Slater trumps them all due to his unbelievable ability to perform at his best in just about every match he plays in. However if they all play at the best, there's not much separating them.

They are both incredibly good players, when other good players make them look good, Hayne with full confidence is nigh untouchable, but only notice his higher impact whn Parra are actually playing well.
Inglis is athletic, and strong. And is a smart player, which makes him a more whole and complete footballer than Hayne, when they are both on top form, Inglis takes the cake

both very good players but theres no comparison, hayne is a much better player when you consider all elements of the game.. this highlights video is a good example. almost every try that inglis scores has been set up for him. he hasnt done near any of the hard work whilst hayne has done almost everything in setting up his tries.

hayne is so overated its not funny. what did he bring to nsw? nothing. since the parramatta grand final he has done jack shit. inglis is alot tougher and could easily play haynes positions and even a forward if neccessary. and also for all the people that think hayne is the shit, he doesn't even compare to billy slater. overall hayne is overated, a good footballer but overated

@bazza0333 mate ur comment is overrated. Hayne is parramata, defensively and offensively. Without him i see them getting thrashed each week. He is in the top 5 for try assists this year and he has played majority as a fullback. Even though he hasnt scored a lot of tries he has produced them out of nothing. His main fault is that he remains quite in the bigger games. Inglis was good, and is really underperforming. Watch the games before u comment! Because inglis has done shit all year not hayne.

Put it this way - There not easily comparable because they're different positions and different styles of player. Having said that, Jarryd does more for the Eels than Greg does for the Bunnies. If I had to choose one I'd choose Jarryd Hayne a. he plays more positions b. he has a better passing/kicking game c. even when he's not in 2009 top form he still plays like a gun whereas Inglis out of form is average

Greg Inglis was good. But in 2011 what has he done. He is a joke, and currently very inconsistent. I am a G.I. fan but i must say that Jarryd Hayne has been performing at a much higher level, both defensively and offensively. Although Hayne hasnt performed as well on test level, it does not mean that Inglis is better. If u watch the highlights u will realise that inglis is only being set up, and all his test tries are against england who cannot even beat the Nrl exiles. No hayne = no para.

Inglis steps up in the big smoke, Hayne rarely does. Has anyone noticed that there is way more highlights of GI at Origin or Test level to that of Hayne?.
In 2009, Hayne won the Dally M. Yes it was his best season and a cracker it was, People seem to be forgetting the amount of Awards GI won that same year because of his service to the rep arena, Highlighted by Golden Boot, Wally Lewis Medal, Dally M Rep POTY, and 4 Nations best player. Hayne rocked the NRL but Inglis ruled the world!.
