  • Dude: "stop flying !"

    Eagle: "no u !"

  • Which pixel was the eagle?

  • I think he was just fucking with ya.

  • Wow, that is amazing. They are awesome animals, but man that would be scary as shit. If it had done enough damage your ass would be falling!

  • I want one.

  • These birds have a territory ranging from 9 to 100 km's from their nest.

  • haha "get off my fuckin thermal"

  • need an airhorn within easy reach. bbrrrrrrrrrrrrr. should scare them off. "HOLY SHIT!" lol.

  • at man parks nsw in the 90s was killed when a wdge tail rip his hang glider sheeting apart, also on a documentry a wedge tail clawed a kangaroo as it hoped along ripping its neck then feated on the 5ft male buck shortly after it died.

  • at man parks nsw in the 90s was killed when a wdge tail rip his hang glider sheeting apart

  • @DeafFret the beeping sound you hear at 1:03 is the guy's variometer, not the hawk. Look it up.

  • Where abouts were you, btw? Terrain looks vaguely reminiscent of Flinders Ranges, but I suppose you could be somewhere in the top end?

  • I'm transfixed by a sound I can hear 1:04-:120. It sounds like an eagle, but it also sounds like a honing sonar type beep noise, blue-shifted as its approaching.

  • There eas another incident involving a female paraglider as well, so no is not about protecting turf they are actively trying to force paragliders to crash same way they try to force goats down a cliff.

  • HAHAHAH!!! :-) great video!

  • ecilpse in the background at the sun?

  • @minerofblood weird..

  • gabibrs you are true but it was being in a aggresive manner. You can't blame mattysenior for what happened. Honestly

  • LOL i bet you couldn't wait to get to the ground.

  • 7.5 foot wingspan!

  • WOW! FUCK THAT!

  • My freind got attacked by one and got mild septacemia and had to spend a week in hospital on antibiotics drip IV.

He was a dumbass climing trees and must of spooked a parent it came after him when he was on the ground walking.

    Beautiful creatures.

  • They´re just protecting their territory. They won´t hunt people or children. Even though some of you deserve it. They hunt animals only for their own survival. What about you? Don´t you eat meat and stuff? Same thing, the only difference is that you buy it from the supermarkert. People like you should spend a day with a wedge tailed eagle to see what an amazing animal they are. Honestly.

  • @gabibrs stfu, its attking his paraglider, he should get a gun and shoot it, you hell complain over animal rights shhhh

  • @gabibrs you been attacked by one?

  • @gabibrs: Those Eagles followed her all the way through it was not about territory. They were very much actively hunting her by trying to make her crash. I find it amazing how they attacked her shut deliberately trying to cause as much damage as possible. And Yes they hunt for their own survival but for them to choose a paraglider as a prey item must mean they were desperate.

  • @bannedbyMusloons prey item??!! dude do u hav any idea how big an eagle's territory is? they were probably trying to stop the paragliger because they saw it as a threat, a human is twice as big as anything they would consider prey

  • @ELMATO9: They are known to prey on mountain goats which are way bigger than they are. Eagles are smarter and more resourceful than you give them credit.

  • @bannedbyMusloons i no how smart they r, smart enough to tell the difference between a possible enemy and a prey item,

  • @ELMATO9: I doubt they perceive the parachute as a threat otherwise they would not give chase all the way thrpugh but just to get them away from their nest but oh wait at no moment were any of the pargliders anywhere near a cliff where those eagles nest either so no it was not about protecting turf.

  • @bannedbyMusloons turf isn't exculsive to were their nest is, and other than planes paragliders are the only other entity that can fly at their level, so they were threatened

  • @ELMATO9: How it come you never see them attacking other eagles and birds of prey like that then? Your argument falls falt on the fact there is no evidence to support it. However there is factual evidence of them forcing goats which are way larger then them off cliffs to then dine on the remains.

  • @bannedbyMusloons dude this is stupid either of us could b right or wrong lets stop wasting each others time and drop it

  • @gabibrs at least this bird is free (not in a cage as some people do)... maybe it's worth spending a day (or a whole life) in a cage to see how amazing that is...

  • Comment removed

  • @gabibrs : people like us understand and respect birds, eagles and nature more than others. And no i don't eat meat.

  • should've taken a shotgun with u.

  • Eagle could probably kill a human if it wanted to.

  • it doesn't. they only eat carrion (dead animals) and their eyesight is so sharp and their eyesight is some thermal sight thing where they can see which parts are hotter or colder. the colder parts are dead animals and they swoop down to eat it. They don't kill humans, theyre good for australia for eating pests like rabbits.

  • there are videos on youtube of eagles hunting deer and wolves. i think they are more than capable of hunting a child.

  • "Hey, stop flying!" LMAO

  • You are one lucky flyer. Helluva memory for you.

  • They're a big fucking bird ! Scary stuff.

  • This was close to the nest. Nice thing to do is to just fly away. Great video!

  • lol, pussy? It's an eagle and it can make you fall to your death, dumbass.

  • "hey, you're gonna rip my wing!!'

  • And I thought magpies are Arse holes!

  • I like how you said: Hey stop flying, Fuck off .......LOL

  • that bird was pissed mate.

  • I think he's at killarney on the border, near warwick, south qld. Go killarney cutters rugby league.

  • Brilliant eagle go eagle go

  • Bring a shotgun up next time and turn his ass into a dream-catcher.

  • good luck trying to hit it. pretty sure they're protected anyway

  • they are

  • id pull 2 a-lines, maybe hed think he got you then :)

  • wow too close mate

  • mad eagle lol...

  • Glad you`re ok.

    >> Of course don`t get angry at the Wedge Tailed Eagles, they`re only trying to protect their territory & your glider looked like a major threat to them.

By the way, when & where did this happen to you? I`m guessing Southern Queensland..?

  • Incredibile!!

Dalla magia del volo con gli uccelli alla paura del loro attacco.

  • they get aggressive because theyre protecting their nest

    nice video

man id love to try that ;)

  • .... thank the lord for "rip stop"

  • It is a surprise.

There is not having heard it in Japan.

  • こわいね!Now you can warn your friends about gliding in Australia...

  • that just sounded stupid.

it doesn't happen everytime you go paragliding. This was just bad luck

  • are there even wild animals in japan?>

    jks

  • Nice video Matty - Glad he didn't do any more to your glider - Cheers mate!

  • Go Matty, thats why I don't fly and orange glider. Good footage.

  • scary. I've always wondered what the birds think is going on.

  • There was a woman recently in 'Readers Digest' who had the same attack. She tried pulling Big Ears to get rid of em but it didn't work.

I think when you get in 'Their Air' they attack as they are know for it.

A couple of BIG wing overs may back them off.

  • That's crazy. Need to bring a water pistol along next time!
