dry question: what top speed is (in theory) possible with the 4r70w 4 speed automatic ? obviously it´s one hell of an amazing drag car transmission as it allows amazing launches and unbelieveable quick n clean shifts. but would it also allow you to outrun an average supercar on the german autobahn for example ? with this much power I´d personally expect it to hit at least 190mph but then there´s the transmission aspect
I'm loving this, off idle sub 1.6 60ft times, what all has that 4r70w had done? I'm about to start on a 410 stroker swap into a 2000 v6 mustang chassis, seeing the results you've had, I'm rather happy with this auto choice. Also what kind of converter are you using, does it have an antiballooning plate?
Can you give me some more info on the trans setup? I just blew out 3rd and 4th gear on my transmission and I'm thinking about switching to a 4r70w I have in my garage. Would you please send me a message with some info? Thanks

has everything you can throw at it. was built by Lentech. converter was a triple lockup PI unit.

Is that a stock or modified 4R70W? That thing shifts quick. What size convertor are you running?

it was a fully built 4r79w, the converter was a 9.5" lockup style 3600 stall
