It was done by Christopher Cook. I remember seeing these at our monthly meetings. And realize, this was done by hand and filmed with an actual 8mm camera, no computers involved. I think that kind of makes up for the "rather poor animation." :)

Dude, this was made back in the mid-80's. All by hand. No computers. Plus sadly, the image quality has kind of degraded over the years. I was another Who fan back in those days, and remember when these were brand new. Ah the good old days.

Well yeah, studios with a staff of dozens of artists, million dollar cameras and six-figure budgets. These were done by one person at home, by hand, shot with an inexpensive camera at home in his spare time. Also keep in mind that these prints haven't aged well. So it looked a lot better back in '84. I knew the people involved so please don't be so critical of this persons work if you weren't there.
