Well i downloaded it from EA.com, using download, not physical reciveving. And i didnt get a Electronic Arts folder! And i cant find the editor! HELP

hello again, when i go into bin32 (i don't have bin64) it doesn't have the engine in it, i really want it because I've seen what people do with it but even if i search for it I can't find it.....

@PicklesMgee Its is not the same...not even close...lol...the FarCry 1 map editor is insanely difficult to use and you HAVE to know what you are doing...Sandbox 2 is exclusive to Crysis and now there is Sandbox 3 which is with Crysis 2...good luck!

ok thanks for letting me know and when you say insanely difficult do ya mean it would take ages to get the hang off, i have a basic idea of what to do but by the sound of it, it wont be enough.

is there any other ways to get the sandbox 2/3 legit without getting the games

How do you get 64bit? I have a 64 bit windows 7, but it doesn't show when I go into Crysis files. It looks better than 32bit.

when i press strg+g (start game) ist doesnt start the game :( the mouse just diessapears but nothing else happens..

@coolymichael That is probably because once you start on a map, you must "Export To Engine" in the "File" menu...then after you do that close out the Editor then start it back up and try that...let me know if that helps you!

Darn, I accidentally deleted the EA folder... Now I can't play x64 Edition. When I play x32, all I see is a grey screen, no water! --- I can't even play 64bit, it says I'm missing a SHAllocater.dll file.

@VitriolicAC go to the file tab and press export to engine and press save then open the map again

In case it's not intuitive to some people, it's a good idea to make wet sand your base (top of the list) texture and then the layers after that would be dry sand, grass, rocks, etc, in no particular order. It's just so you don't have to paint the ocean floor manually if it takes up most of your map. So basically use whatever the majority of your map is gonna be covered with.

Plus me talking into a headset probably wasn't the best thing either...Now I have and actual microphone so I wont be as bad.

I also was known for mumbling, with my family and all, but I don't mumble anymore and the new tutorials will be a lot better, trust me...

i want to have Sandox 2 too. i have a newer "cheap" crysisedition for 15 Euro or so. There are all Sandbox 2 Datafiles but the exe data is missing! Is it able to download the Editor!? thhx :)

I have no idea, the one I used to have I bought straight up from Gamestop. Except now my friend has it, that is why I don't have it. You could always download the Sandbox 2 Editor from the Pirate Bay. May I remind you that it is against the law though....lol

Thank you for your comliments, but there is a slight problem. I do not own Crysis anymore! As soon as I get enough spare money I will actually buy the Crysis Maximum Edition and I will continue making these tutorials. The only difference is that the new ones will be on a different map.
