Why is it that blacks are the advanced greatest percentage in the Seventh Day Adventist religion? Is it because they are the easiest led, and called 'morons'? Oh, making a little more sense now...

I can see how some Adventists would feel this way but it wouldn't only be chocolate milk but basically the thinking is that you should prepare for the Sabbath in the six other days of the week. Of course, if an emergency arises that you can't avoid I'm sure God isn't going to fault you for it but the idea is to be ready and get your chocolate milk on Friday so you won't have to buy it on the Sabbath, if possible!

Mackgrey, the thing about 1st Day worshipers that cracks me up is, they can't tell you what justifies Sunday worship. Peter was threatened (KEY MOMENT) by the Jews/Hebrews for spreading the teachings of Jesus, so he took it to those who desired it. The book of Acts talks about this, but I'm not going to go into it. Jesus worshiped on the 7th day and so do I, and that has little to do with SDA.

As a Seventh Day Adventist Elder...I dont think the drums have a place in church, though I enjoy their desire to praise. Look up the guidance we have on this subject...perhapns Louis Torres Notes on Music or Ellen Whites writings. Theres plenty of clear statements and good reason for them. Certain instraments are good but not drums. God Bless. Notice how everyone clapped like it was a show? What happened to Amen...it really is praise to God.

As an SDA pastor I encourage you to read Psalms and see what the Bible says on praise and percussion and instruments. Ps 149:3 & Ps 150:4 "timbrel" is a tambourine without cymbols on it. You must beat it to play it. It is percussion! A drum!!!!!

I gave a refrence to Louis Torres book notes on music and how drums affect the body in a negative way. The drums you mentioned are small "hand" drums and the cymbals are not the same style..they clasp in a more quite way up and down not from a downward swing.
