    And you are very wise.

    I believe the writer, or writers, are emphasizing in a very basic textbook sort of way, improperly, in order to extrapolate, or assume, an integrity to the principle of 'The Golden Proportion' explanation.

    I'm very glad that you see it that way as well. The late 19th and 20th century saw some of the strongest attempts by the West to argue a scientific foundation for their aesthetic ideals. All of them were abject failures.
