I belive in paranormal stuff because it's happened to me throughout my life but this is so fake. There are parts in the video where the chair is moving at 2:30 while the girl is doing her home work but she doesn't get freaked out and continues to do her homework? If that stuff happened to me I would stop everything I'm doing and get the hell out of the kitchen. There was clearly some wire connected to that chair and the whole table for that matter that we can't see.

That chair sliding under the girl looks faked to me. Notice 2:35 where the chair is being tucked in by the parent. With her legs and body sitting on the chair, her upper torso should have moved with the rest. Instead, her upper body stays in place - independent of her lower body and legs. There's also the matter of the table cloth covering the view - rather conveniently. I'm surprised that these people are bothering w/a tablecloth and that the kid doesn't just do her work at the library.

That little girl had them all fooled. Good goin, kid! Notice the camera does not show the underneath of the table when the "knocks" are heard. Nor does it show the bottom when the table and chair move (which looks suspiciously like it is being pulled by a wire of sorts).

I used to tip our kitchen chairs like that when I was a kid. It drove my parents nuts as they constantly warned me I could get hurt.

Okay, you can tell when something is doing it, or if someone is hoaxing it. I once was at a party, and I caught it out the corner of my eye and looked straight at a soda can as it slid across the table a few inches. It was so smooth and seamless that I tried to recreate it, and no matter what couldn't. It was such a smooth movement I couldn't dream of recreating.

It would be more compelling if we could see the legs of the chair that moves alone; it could have been tied with a string. And I'm sure if she practiced enough, that girl could push that chair with her leg muscles, while her feet remain planted on the chair rungs. We don't see if someone is pulling the table away from her, from the other side, either. A lot of illusionists do "amazing" things and make it look effortless and magical. I think this evidence is interesting, but not compelling.

@crackfiendables See my post above. And I have experienced strange occurrences in my childhood home. It included a moving chair, and its motion was nothing like this IMO fakery.

Note the camera angles which deliberately obscure the legs of the furniture. It's garbage like this that will assure any serious study of the paranormal will never be undertaken or believed.

OH please people, the warrens are two of the biggest fakes around. You should do a little research on them. They even told a writer who was employed by them to write the account of the Connecticut haunting, to fill in the gaps, make things up if he has to, just as long as he makes the story scary. This after he reported back to them after interviewing the family that their stories didn't match and that he had doubts of it's authenticity.

Other people there have seen the other man and the woman. I don't know if they've seen the poltergeist in action, but I know they've HEARD it in action. I've actually seen the poltergeist move things in my office, in front of my eyes.

While I can't say with certainty whether or not this ir real or fake, I have read into and seen many accounts of Ed and Lorraine helping families in crisis like this one. I believe that they have helped countless families. Read the book, The Haunted about the Smurl family. The book is outstanding.
