  • Still a ton to learn ...such as not tilting ur head down THE ENTIRE piece also swaying ur head not good, stand up straight with authority you slouched and more articulation in your conducting, 2/5 thats failing btw not good. Work alot harder. And look at the band when u direct ur not supposed to be directing to the floor its the band.

  • Haha...Hal Leonard and their beeps!

  • much improvement from your fantasmic pieces. however, lose the baton!! other things, keep your fingers closed, and a bit taller on your 1 beat. keep 3 a little more consistent in direction. NEED FACIALS! keep your chin and eyes up!! good ideas stylizing the hands though. keep at it.

  • wow. that's a pretty cool style. Overall good, my only recomendation which I'm sure other people have said is to keep your ictus lower, and fingers closed. Also even when in your room, you can practice looking at the different groups in the ensemble and doing that will keep you from looking down. Just pretend you are cewing (sp?) an acually section in teh band, according to their placement in the symphonic setting. Hope that helps! Good luck and great job

  • thanks so much!=)).

  • Hey, some constructive criticism for you...If you keep your arms down lower, twords your mid-torso, it leaves you more room to express dynamics and it will give you more space for your cut off's. Ohhh and you want to make your beats smaller when they are to play in piano and then increase your motions when they are playing in forte. You're doing a great job...keep it up.

  • thank you very much..

i would like to think that i have changed in a year=p. i just never get around to putting up more videos..

    tryouts are in 2 weeks!

    wish me luck=).

    and once again.

    thanks!

  • my god pat you are such a band geek but hey so am i so yeah. nice job just about the same way i conduct our show but with a few differences. now we just gotta start getting back together after school and work on new songs. see ya around

  • Yah..These people who are bumbarding you with critsism are dopes man..you got it,namean? I'm Matt and you sir are how old and can conduct like a mad house fool? Props... I give you props. I'm a friend of a friend..

  • morgans matt?

  • Yeah how you figure that out? she talk to you? what a hoe , always been'n hoe-ish.lol. yeah I'm Matt Bradley she said you were a good friend. Like close to a brother. Thats sayin alot. It took me 3 years to get brother status. lol. I'm glad your a friend she can count on in KG everyone else there is backstabbin. But your cool man. alright

    peace

  • I use the swoop cut-off all the time. Seems really effective to me. Thats how the corps do it. Idk why it dosent make you a real drum major if you do it but w/e. Not bad but keep the pattern below your face and not so flappy tighten it up. Good job!

  • -lower your conducting plane it's more comfortable and natural

-more dynamic contrast in window size

-the good drum majors don't use the swoop around cut-off. Try hitting those last two notes, bringing your arms around like you would for your normal cut-off, but then (with right arm) punch across your torso towards your left outer thigh (with left arm keep your left fist just below your chin and the forearm parallel with your left arm. Make it all lock right when you want them to stop.

  • ya i kno but my part was there..it was on a stand.

  • You cant conduct a band looking down there you know?
