So at the end of the day what is wrong with giving up the child to the church or adoption besides abortion? That is still being responsible! Abortion just seems like avoiding responsiblity if your not able to take care of the baby then don't take that risk until you are able to take care of another life or give the baby to someone else! 1) As for the moral issue abortion is murder. God says not to murder, steal, lie etc (10 commandments). He wrote that law on our hearts. That's why we hate when people lie to us, steal from us, because we know it's wrong. We also know murder is wrong and location of where a person is (in the womb, out of the womb) doesn't change the truth of what abortion is. Truth is not taste.

2) Preference and taste don't matter in your choice of clothes, foods etc. However,preference and taste don't change history, mathematics, science and if you need insulin to live. Whoopi would be very offended if someone used her own reasoning for abortion for the promotion of slavery, because her argument like the rest who support abortion is flawed by subjective feelings and not objective truth.

We all have free choice and I fully endorse that but Joy and Whoopi - I'm not sure that they actually have seen this ad... its not really slamming abortion insomuch as it is promoting and supporting people who CHOOSE to carry a baby to term.

I think that the most important thing to come out of this commercial is that just because your doctor says "you can't have have this baby because you'll probably die and the baby will be developmentally disabled," doesn't necessarily meant that's what is going to happen.
