All squirrels will do this if starving. They are very much like rats or mice and willing to eat almost anything if their vital berries, nuts, shoots etc aren't available. They do not seem to infact eat much of the prey but instead focus on the stomachs, intestines etc where the bird's food is at, so in essence they are just eating digested birdfood. When unable to find water they also may hunt simply for blood to drink. Overall this is more often done by starving nursing mothers. Poor bird

they have no rabies man, try being bitten and u r still alright. am brave, i experimented. am still okay, that was years ago. when an animal is hurt or paralyzed from his fall, be sure to think 1st b4 touching the poor thing. it's already scared because of its predicament, so if someone gets nearer to help, he's more scared that he might poke your hand to protect itself from further harm. it doesn't know what u r gonna do, so like a child, no, am only for my mommy!
