I would always try to do the blue Bear Hugger special with the mines so the big Mortar thing would hit several enemies.

its one of the best games i have ever played. when you unlock everything you get to have a flying saucer. well with the playstation version anyways and this looks like it is.

The Crater-Maker combo is done by pressing Down+Down+Up+Machine Gun. It requires at least 5 mortar ammo

its not as good. v8 has a more 'retro' feel to it. its also much better when it comes to the characters and their stories. v8 2 is good for the upgradeable cars and more unlockable characters. gameplay, soundtrack, story and theme is better in v8.

I remember playing that game years ago, never did get old. =P I loved playing as Sid after unlocking him. The special weps owned too, and I loved all of the little secrets they added to the maps.
