hey, i just got blender, and want to make a zombie fps, it is massivley complicated and based on the book the enemy by charlie higson, do you have to make many different meshes seperately then put them together or make many in one session?

@KrimsonDragon24 you have to press command , to open the preferences and then under 'Input' select the option about half way down that says 'emulate numberpad' or something similar. check this box, click save to defaults at the bottom and it should work

@mii302 you have to have a full keyboard. The number keys you hit to change views are the ones on the numpad not ones above the keyboard.

What type of computer do you have? V2.5 isn't up for anything windows yet. Atleast thats what it says.

@Asphyxiation616 I use a mac, but on windows (both 32 and 64 bit) there is a zip file you can download. go to blender (dot) org/download/get-25-alpha/ and find the version of windows that aplies to you (32 or 64 bit) and just to the rite or the blender logo ware it says "no installer yet" there should be a link that says "Blender 2.5 Alpha2 Zip" download the zip file and you should be running blender 2.5 in about 10 minites.

@CleverNameStudios Yeah I tried that. I have V2.9b, when I download the zip file it just opens a window to show me the file, but doesn't let me use it in blender. Any advice?

great video man. just one minor thing you might want to edit. at 3:38 - 3:50 you made a comment saying that a button wasn't available on any of the other previous versions of blender. I dont know about some of the older ones, but Its on 2.49b. as I said just a super minor thing. either way you made a really great & helpful vid. keep up the good work
