just to add to the video , the shipwreck is that of the joanna/johanna wrecked new years eve 1982 in suspicious circumstances. look it up on the web its a very interesting story....!!!! errm ermm allegedly lol
Thanks for the great upload..bought back good memories as I visited Hartland Point in about '83 or '84 before the buildings were demolished & we were given a guided tour by one of the keeper's daughters....she was about 12 years old but she knew lots about her home! Good memories!
It is a breath taking view ...now from looking at your videos I know that Cornwall is an amzing place to go and relax..Now you have showed many places there..I have to thank you so much for your time and caring for filming these lovely nature scenes and valuable places...
What were those birds with 'forked tail' on the wire? Terns? What a pretty spot, even with the shipwrecks :-)!! Thanks for the historical info, too! Looking forward to more! S.
I just read in the newspaper today that some young boys died in that area the last couple of weeks... They celebrate their holiday and the fact that they are free from school...by jumping of a cliff !
How stupid can you be eh ? Anyways... when you see how huge and high the cliffs are, there is no way that I ever think of it, to jump into the ocean from there...
You contact me when the lighthouse is for sale eh Phil ? Hahahahaha

Thanks Susan. Those birds were Swallows. It is the long fork tail that makes them easier to distinguish from the House Martins and Swifts.
