Thanks, this is really magnificent. I was living in Berlin in September 2001, and saw Radiohead on the night of the 11th, and this particular song resonated greatly for me and many others during that time ... and all of that aside, this beautiful song, and the scenes from Wenders's beautiful film, fit together perfectly!

@fakeplasticandroid I watched this over and over today(I love WOD BTW) - my Uncle, who was really my father - being fatherless - lived in Berlin until right before the Russians came in April 1945. He is Armenian and was hiding in Berlin - it's a long story. This film has always been a way for me to feel and see some of what is now lost both in Berlin and due due to his loss in 1989. Your combination of this song to the clips lifts my heart - this is the beauty an inspired person can create! TNX

Signs of times, sad times, I guess, that Wender's subtle travellings have to be speed up to fit this song. Even the old man is hurrying up the library stairs... so sad... And the poems recited, the thoughts captured in the movie, are all buried by guitar and drums...
