America has a PLURALITY of conservatives, about 30%. But in reality, the moderates split in such a way that the ideological divide is about 50/50. Conservatives lie when they say they are a majority. I truly hope the Democrats will win, I don't think returning Republicans to the presidency will help our economy, and will in fact destroy it. I have nothing in particular against conservatives as people, but their policies are a total disaster. They were the ones who wrecked the economy.
