  • is there a clay that i could use to make canes that can easily mix with oil paints and have a rich color?

  • @KandySkullz You can use this clay (Grace Clay) to make canes but it might take a bit patience to wait for one part to dry before you move on the other part

  • i luv the cake!!!!!!!

  • @luluminiatures thanks :)

  • will pva glue harden when baked?

  • @bulejuicee it is air dry clay so you dont need to bake. PVA glue wont harden when baked

  • If i were to use chalk to colour on top of the air-dry clay, do i apply it when the clay is dry or when the clay is wet? Cause i left alot of my miniatures to dry already without any colouring on top of it. Thanks ;)

  • @smxiu You may apply when it is either wet or dry, but becareful not to put much water to the colour when the clay is still wet as it will ruin the shape

  • Cute !

  • OMG

  • From Hong Kong or Japan

  • Would acrylic paint work to mix the clay too?

  • It works with arcylic too, but I prefer oil paint, because the clay is made from oil tree. For countries where have humid weather it is better to use oil paint to avoid the item get molded in the future.

  • must this clay be baked? and what is the different between this clay and premo clay? i'm confused with all the clays.. thanks

  • this is air dry clay and you dont need to bake it. Very convinence to use.

  • erm.. must this clay be baked? and can u tell miie the different between this clay and premo clay? thanks

  • hi!

one question what type of paint do you use to mix the colors? (acrylic or poster paint)

    thank you so much!! ^^

  • Hi, it is oil paint

  • After opening the packet of Grace Clay, how do you preserve the freshness of the rest of the clay in the packet?

  • It is best to use clining wrap over the clay and use a air tight box to store it.

  • I use oil paint to mix with the clay. Fimo is different type of clay and no need to mix color in

  • I don't think so, it is a Japanese product and you can buy it from Japan, Hong Kong or from me @ Australia

  • The brand is called Grace Clay

  • No, the clay itself is moist and soft, and not wet, it is very easy to mould

  • So you mean when you're doing the whole thing, it's wet?

  • No, it is air-dry clay

  • In Hong Kong or Japan, or me from Aust.

  • Using clear nail polish

  • how do you make the cake all shiny in the end?? thank you :)

  • It is just the clear nail polish

  • What is the brand name for the Japanese tree oil clay?

  • The brand is called Grace Clay

  • The oil paint you can purchase at any art shop. You can buy the clay from me @ AUD20 + postage. If you are at Hong Kong or Japan you can buy it locally at the art shops.

  • The shortcake is very realistic!

  • Is the cream glue mixed with polymer? Can I try it?

  • Yes, but it is not polymer, I think polymer is relatively hard and can't dissolve in glue. The clay I used is Japanese tree oil clay

  • that cake was so darling!

what kind of paint and clay do you use?

  • The paint is oil paint and I was using japanese tree oil clay.

  • what kind of paint do you use? acrylics?
