I'll take a stab, although ask three Rasta's and you might get three different answers.

Rasta's are an offshoot of Christianity. Babylon is Satan's world. Haile Selassie Christ reborn. A lover of peace murdered for his opposition to Satan.

Unlike some Christians today who are "Sunday Christians" a true Ras is a holy man (woman) who worships Jah daily in heart and mind. It's a lifestyle as much as a belief.
