@skou1998 throw them anywhere you want with right click and there is a chance a baby chicken will spawn there. It will take one minecrat day for it to grow up and start making more eggs.

you need more chickens than that. i have a chicken 'farm' in my survival and i 'harvest' 20+ eggs per minecraft day plus 5 chickens. i use the eggs to breed more chickens.

this guys a retard, all u need to do is make a room, (i used a giant red musharoom, its a good size) then u make the roof out of glass(if u want) then add a door, make a tunnel around the door so u got a 2 doors, so if a chicken gets out of 1 door kill it or let it back in the room so u dont lose any chickens, then just make a 1 block hole in the roof so u can throw eggs in without chickens escaping. then just get some eggs or find a chicken. easier to get some eggs from random chickens.

now spawn 100 chickens, add a water funnel, some pistons, and a bit of restone, and hook it all up to your house...never have to check...just pull the lever

That's what everyone fails at. it's not 5x7 it's 5x8 because you start with one block allready dug up, and from there you dig up 7 more blocks.. if you go over it again you'll find that it's 5x8 instead

@ilvminecraft6476 not if u put more than 3 chickens in...i used 320 eggs, got a whole bunch of chickens, and i get way more than 6 an hour, probs like a few stacks every couple minutes. If you time your egg throws right, than you can get a constant stream of eggs, since when one batch lays eggs, instead of resetting, it will only be a little bit til the next batch lays eggs. thats what i did.

I was thinking of this idea earlyer. I'm going to need to build this later on and move a few of my chickens into it. I can see some improvements of what i can do. The water currents could be made to move the eggs to only one collection point and it can be above ground.

this is useless.... just get 1 bonemeal and 1 red musharoom.Then make a door on one side (preferably leading into your house) make it 2 doors. Then make a hole in the top, doesnt matter how big, make sure its not too high, then just collect some chicken eggs, and make stairs upto the roof, then go up there and throw the eggs at a wall or the floor untill a chicken randomly comes out, then your done, PS:the 2 doors are for just incase one gets out if you dont have many chickens.
