I was in love with my best friend in high schol. I was 15 and was still so naive of what it meant to be gay--I didn't understand my own feelings towards her. I remember distinctly how she told me one time that her boyfriend still hadn't kissed her yet and they'd been going out for months. I reacted so strongly... I wanted to be the one to teach her how to kiss. And I was very confused about why I couldn't let that go. I get it now at 19 years old (I'm quite slow apparently!): I loved her.

I found out when I was around 14, and it was a little hard cause I just moved to my secondary school/high school. I had a crush on my best friend, and because we were so close anyway people thought we were together. I then backed out because I didn't want her to have people hate her because of me. That same year we actually started 'experimenting' and now 4 years later we are together officially as a couple. So it turned out well in the end.

simply because there was this other girl who came out when she was quite young and she was made fun of and I guess I was a wuss XD just couldn't really face it. I didn't even write it in diaries because I'd write in them as if they were a story and someone else was going to read them.

I went all the way through secondary school fancying one girl or another. Either a best friend or from afar and they all SUCKED. I can practially trace the trail of my crushes all the way through.
