In the rest of the world, they liked the cleaner lines without the hood scoops. I have liked mine both ways, but it attracts less attention without them.

You definitely COULD order a 6.0 without hood scoops. It is a very rare option though.

@sfuller442 yea fail on that one. the GTO came with NO Options Other than mt/at 17's or 18's and the SAP which is pretty rare to find. all 05's and 06's came with hood scoops regardless. 04's are the only ones without. they look kinda gay without the scoops so who would go through the trouble of getting a hood without them?

That's definitely an LS1 GTO. It doesn't say "6.0" on the side, it says "GTO". You definitely CANNOT order an LS2 goat with a scoopless hood. There was 3 options for the 04-06 GTOs:

-manual/auto tranny

-17" or 18" wheels

-sport appearance package

....hood was NOT an option.

what a loser these things are made here in oz the first batch of monaros with the ls1 were a bag shit. fucked yanky engines with piston slap they chewed 1lt of oil every 1000km they also had shit diffs and they fell apart in general 14 second 1/4 mile so they are not fast. oh and that model bmw was a shit heap also

are you sure your stock? because i test drove both cars and the M5 felt slightly faster but out of my budget ever so slightly 6.0 is a drivers race with one of these, definitaly not a guaranteed kill

@tksmither gto is not slow...that was a LS1 motor...they added 50 more horses the next year....a gto is cheaper...and yet better...more powerful when modified...these things respond..and dont have the shitty consumer reports that beamers have...drive something that doesnt break.
