  • It your turn USA, good luck, you can do it :)

  • I was there!!! I love this! We WILL fight back!!!

  • This video is real and the folks are not just 'Union thugs'. Notice that in this video it is Walker that is calling the police on peaceful protestors.

If you have to name call and swear, you are not part of the solution.

What if I said that since you don't like unions, we take away everything the unions fought for that you dislike? Bye the 40 hour week, Bye unemployment, child labor laws, women being treated fairly and work safety laws. Think it's bad now?

United we stand, divided we BEG

  • The war company should be begin. 1000 of tomahawks can help.

Democracy should be not only in Iraq and Libya

  • where is madison? Could anybody give more details about this? (I'm from other country and I'd like to inform about this). Thanks

  • Why NATO is not helping the protesters?

  • "Where free unions and collective bargaining are forbidden, freedom is lost."

  • @pseizure2000 "Teachers Unions Unite together we shall change everything."--Adolph Hitler speaking with National socialist hitler youth 1939 Berlin

  • @iamnotrealsoyeah

Blaming teachers is an ignorant way of addressing the issues at hand. I highly doubt that teachers in Wisconsin are radically different from teachers in other parts of America.

  • Please go to A Unitedwisconsin. COMm Its a website that has a pledge to sign, to recall Walker. They need signatures from eligible WI voters. Thanks!!

  • @DK0526 You make no fucking sense!

  • @wakaw07 thats because your too stupid to grasp the concept...btw way how does scott walkers cock feel up your union ass?

  • MPS is a huge wasteful failure. Every year that system produces thugs who cant read or write. Yet the system sucks up more tax dollars. What other fucking company could fail so miserably and get paid so well. I dont care if the teachers are good people and the parents are turds. Thats like saying the workers at AMC were good people but no one wanted the fucken cars. Same thing here the product is shit and the price for shit is too high!

  • @DK0526 "What other fucking company could fail so miserably and get paid so well" Ah let's start with the banks!

  • @DK0526 "What other fucking company could fail so miserably and get paid so well" Ah let's start with the banks!

  • @wakaw07 If you even fucken remotely had a clue you moron you would know that the banks are all controlled directly by the Federal Reserve. With leadership directly appointed by the president aka the government...so try again fuckstick...time to go back to school and learn something. You might also find the Credit Reinvestment act, or The charters of Fannie mae and Fredie mac again major fucken gov tampering with free market banking that led to this whole fucken crisis...you stupid fucken turd!

  • @DK0526 Ah the answer is still the banks! those fuckers get paid far more with your tax dollers than any teacher does! truth hurts hey!

  • @wakaw07 Well then shit for brains I guess your too stupid to even know when we are in agreement. I wouldn't simply cut the pay of the top bankers in the US. I would go even further and eliminate the Federal Reserve all together as in no pay! The banking system needs to be truely privatized so that good banks prosper and bad banks fail. Today the fed ties them together trying to water down the turds. Now we have turd soup thatnks to the feds. The teachers are the same only on a smaller scale!

  • >>>Think of the Fed reserve as the bankers Union. It has done immense damage over the yrs starting with the great depression and they still are fucken up strong today. They need to be eliminated just like the parasitic teachers union that has fucked up so many now jobless teens. The unions help to get rid of local accountability so that we just blame the system as it all gets worse. Looking at the product that is being crapped out of MPS do you think the teachers should be proud?

  • Pure Inspiration!!!

  • @DK0526 When i was there , people were all the way around the street of the capitol and many inside as well. And also behind the capitol is state street, so goes down there too and this is only a wednesday and its cold. One saturday was 70,000. People come and go, so for a city of 500,000 its not bad. If it was nice out it would be doubled im sure.

  • Comment removed

  • @DK0526 i was there and im not homeless. and on the 28th, i was denied access into the capitol. that capitol at which some of my taxes go to.

  • @dewgy32 No shit even a porta-potty has a capacity limit! I don't think you get it. There is alot of americans out there hurting financially because of too much government tinkering and there is businesses leaving the country because of unions and taxes. America is falling behind and the greed of the gov unions is not getting sympathy. Working americans are saying wtf how can these turds take off of work to be there every day to protest for more and more...its pathetic!

  • Fire the senators and teachers.... That is it!

  • @wincekthomas Actually Glen Beck DOES NOT tell you to but SILVER. Nice try shows hw shallow balls you are.

As of right now I have made over $3,000 in 60 days. I will make twice that even more as these teachers and union fruits stike and picket the next 60 days. IT WILL COST THE STATE MORE meaning I willmake more.

SO KEEP IT UP communist. You are making me rich bitch

Im glad you are laughing. ME TOO. Going to coin store now.

What do you have bitch? NOTHIN but the tax payer in chains.

  • @PatriotWatchUSA - you are obviously a profoundly ignorant / dumb person. I can see how you would not value education.

  • @FunFoxes Dumbass the people pay for the teachers not OBAMA nuts. You dumb ass. If you owned a houseDIP SHIT you could pull out a PROPERTY TAX bill and see where your dollars go. But you are too lazy to own a home and look at tax bill. THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT JOB ISNT TO FUND EDUCATION.

BYE BYE UNIONS> TEACHERS, GM SEIU< FAILURES with the PEOPLES MONEY

"THe People" are done carrying you losers

VOTE DEMOCRATIC I got SILVER BITCH

  • @FunFoxes Thats great. Lets do the math. Facorty jobs leave because of TAX. TAX stinky bitch. TAX. If I can go to Mexico and make something so I DO NOT Hva eto PAY over priced union workers REPUBLICANS SEND US THERE? Wait Republicans gave tax breaks to Millionaires and billionaires making over $250,000 so they left the country. They would of stayed in USA if PROGRESSIVE LIBERAL NAZIS would of forced unions on EVERYONE and more TAX. U know how stupid that sounds

  • The republicans want you this way:

Broke, on your back, and liking it that way.

  • @TheProphetNabob It should be the ProphetKNOB. Actually if you used your little progressive brain you would see it the other way. LIBERALS WANT YOU TO FUND THESE UNIONS> he TAX payers ick up the tab for this abortion. Has nothing to do with REPUBLICANS. The state is broke BECAUSE OF UNIONS and liberal spending

  • prophetNabob what r u talking about? Bush is Big oil his g/father was indicted by the congress TRADING WITH THE ENEMY fined $60000 supplying scares metasl to keep the nazi war maching going how many more ppl died as a result UK US n other troops n civillians? Unions gave the workers respect n descent living wage now of course the establishment goes after the heads of the unions n their famlies to break any honest movement anything fore the Leeches to keep sucking the life out of the us n workers

  • @FunFoxes First you talk about cck alot. Something on your mind fag? Bush did not spend 9 trillion dickhead. GO LOOK UP THE STATS. It is here to be seen. YOU ARE WAY OFF. Liberal Fannie & Freddie Mac caused a great depression. OBAMA SETTING US TROOP DEATH records IN afghanistan. Obama started two new wars. PAKISTAN and Syria where he is killing civilians daily. GAS going UP. Sorry a conservative male in church would not be sucking cock. Thats what you liberals fight for cock suckers remember?

  • @PatriotWatchUSA First of all it doesn't matter who got us into the depression it is who was in office and should have seen it coming and listened to his advisers so it would not make as big of an impact. Then after it hit he did nothing to help with the situation. Bush did nothing to make the situation better as a matter of fact what he did only made it worse for the country's economy. Bush was driving when the economy started sliding on the ice and then drove it straight in the ditch.

  • @550oliver Actually they did. They held congressional hearings but LIBERALS did not want regulate PROGRESSIVE LIBERAL FANNIE & FREDDIE MAC. YES so this hit in Bush ast two years UNDER DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS> U KNOW THE CONGRES WHO SPENT MORE INTHE LAST 2 years of Bush than Bush did the first 6. Bush ailed out 500 Billion. OBAMA BAILED OUT # TRILLION. Bush 8 years 4 trillion over budget. Obama 2 years 4 TRILLION PLUS not counting FANNIE & FREDDIE.

  • @550oliver OK so by your logic UNDER OBAMAS watch unemployment went from 7.8 % to NOW 23 % or 10% using liberal math. So UNDER OBAMA we have price inflation soon to be HYPER INFLATION. I love the car in the ditch. SO YOU ARE AN OBAMA BALL LICKER. There are few of you left. FEW fools

This was by far the dumbest comment I read all week and it is Sunday. I BET YOU ARE NOT A DAY OVER 18. Living with MOM. What do u do now that u cant beat off to Keith Overbite?

  • @PatriotWatchUSA Actually MOM doesn't give a shit so you can kiss my ass. I am currently paying my way through college and now you can suck my dick. You must be pulling numbers out of your ass because you are way the fuck off on your unemployment. To say around a quarter of the population is unemployed and that the currently accepted numbers are off by 13% is shit. Get your facts straight and stop quoting your Fox "News" and get your facts from a bipartisan source.

  • @550oliver 1. It is obvious that Mom doesnt give a shit that is why you are looking for a MOTHER STATE. 2. You talk about dick alot. Hmmm. U like ass?

Just wait penis lover. YOU WILL SEE SOON. You will get LESS when this is all over

  • @PatriotWatchUSA I get it you have no real response that's fine just keep acting like a homophobic asshole. I love how you try to use being gay as an insult it just goes to show the worth of your argument. Instead of using fact or any kind of reasoning you just start to insult people like a 4th grader. You have no need to respond to this because you have already proven that you have no quality argument. Just go back to your coloring book and try to stay in the lines this time.

  • @550oliver KEEP BLAMING BUSH dick4. So NOW OBAMA IS PUSHING up gas prices. Obama gets more political donations from BIG OIL than any 2 other people. OBAMA SUCKING OIL DICK> You arent one of those dumb ass white people rapping like toads are you. That song sucked. GO GET A JOB so you will not need my money

  • @PatriotWatchUSA I don't need your money I know how to work and what work really is. You work over 12 hours a day 7 days a week farming you piece of shit. Unlike you I believe economic burden should not be on the working class. You keep fucking people over and thinking that the economic burden belongs to the working class and not the people who are making the most money controlling wall street and fucking everything up for the little man. Have fun spitting shit trolling your FOX broadcast.

  • @550oliver Not homophobic just stating the facts. You forgot racist! YES YOU DO FEEL ECONOMIC BURDEN SHOULD BE ON THE WORKING man you advocating taxing me more. THAT IS HOW STUPID you are. COST COME TO US. RAise tax on BUSINESS.....we pay. It really is simple math. I CANNOT WAIT TILL YOUR ALL FIRED AND THAT IS COMING SOON>

Im throwing a party for the TAX PAYERS at my home

  • @PatriotWatchUSA How does taxing businesses cost me? the trickle down theory has not worked for a while now. Notice the wall street CEOs all pocketed their tax breaks and did not reinvest in the business. Please explain your idea instead of just saying it works without proof that it does. We give a tax break to business and they get a bonus give a tax break to the working man he buys his wife a gift or buys a new car reinvesting in the economy. I think we can give that a try for a while.

  • @FunFoxes Sorry if I worked at Burer King I would become a manager and have benefits. Burger is not meant to be your lifes work. It is a part time job for young kids and old people. Bush Tax cuts HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS VIDEO or what ANYONE is talking about. You are confused between what a state is and a country dickhead. THAT IS WHY YOU WORK AT BURGER KING. Get a Burger King job and a McDonalds job and now you have 40 hours. STAY IN SCHOOL and youwont work at BK. READ

  • Solidarity! Working Class people unite!

  • KEEP POTESTING IDIOTS

    KEEP TAXING PLEEEAAASE

    Keep SPENDING MONEY

I GOT SILVER. For FOUR YEARS now youdumb ass progressive liberals are MAKING ME RICH

I GOT PHYSICAL YOU DUMB LIBERAL FRUITS

  • @ANZUS777 WOW I owe my life to these union thugs. And since than they are crushing state after state. Car Industry CRUSHED due to UNION labour. People cant afford a home because unions built the thing.

Keep picketing you lazy bastards. One labour holds the sign. One labour carries the guy with the sign because the first guy can. Than a third over paid dickhead yells whats written on the sign? Why because they are all in differnt unions. UNIONS SUCK BALLS

  • @aaaaa0000000000:

"Are you aware of the many family's in your district that are struggling, but because you're an "educator"(so called public servant) you're to good to share the burden? Are you even aware of who you actually work for? Shame on the you for your selfish greed!"

Teachers average salaries are MAYBE $50k and you're telling THEM to share the load? THEY ARE NOT THE RICH! They are the working class. Why don't you say this to the millionaires who are getting tax cuts???

  • @cookeky1 Millionaires are not my tax burden teachers are!

  • @aaaaa0000000000 That's the most ignorant post on here yet. If millionaires were paying their fair share, then your taxes would be less and we'd be able to pay for the social services that we need in this unequal economic system.

  • @cookeky1 Do you have any idea, what they pay on our socialist tax scale? Have you ever heard of capital gains tax? They pay more than their fair share. I don't feel it's unreasonable to ask teachers to contribute to their healthcare and pension. Unions have become greedier than the employers they are fighting against, and they have no place in the public sector work force. My tax $ goes to the Union via teachers, so don't tell me they should have that right organize!. Educated Idiots !

  • Wisconsin spends 30% of its annual state budget on teacher salaries! The average salary was $46,400 in 2006 (before adding benefits). That figure includes first year teachers in the average. There have been many across the board raises since then. Many of Wisconsin’s teachers have packages that top 100k!

  • I drive a 20 year old pickup while these self righteous teachers drive brand new vehicles to a "labor protest"! I'll bet the parking ramps around the capitol square look like car shows! A good reporter should get that on film!!!

The so called "hits" proposed by the voters of Wisconsin are SMALL compared to what the rest of us have struggled with for years.

  • Prior to the establishment of unions, workers had horrific working conditions and there was not even minimum wage - think Egypt- those poor souls make under $2 a day and can't support their families while Mubark became obscenely wealthy ($70 billion his estimated worth?).

Think of Big John, a hard working miner who makes peanutes and has to get his goods from "the company store" which of course charges exhorbitant prices.

Why are we in danger of losing all the forward progress we've made?

  • @incamelot1 because OBAMA and friends have spent 3.5 trillion most of which is unacounted for. That figure DOES NOT count FANNIE & FREDDIE Liberal CORPORATIONS that brought down the economy

  • @incamelot1 the unions were good when they were needed, but that time has passed, now unions are for-profit extortioneers who take from employee and employers alike.

  • @whitemanwaydownsouth What makes you think unions are not needed. Just because we have laws to protect workers doesn't mean corporations are following them. Every year there are tons of cases where unions are fighting for unions right in the workplace. The fact is that corporations only leave the country so they do not have to pay decent wages and supply a safe working environment. If unions are gone who do you think will be there to make sure the laws are enforced and stand up for workers.

  • good stuff I woul be there if I were back home.

  • Impeach Scott Walker, sign the petition!!

  • Hey guys go comment on the video /watch?v=cufj2d8Co5A

Nobody there seems to support the rally. Show them different.

  • alaska says: on wisconsin!

  • This is what democracy looks like!

  • @ANZUS777 Scab labor (me) apparently do nothing for the country oh apart from actually provide growth and revenue for the country as we provide a workforce that is not overpaid and undertalented as the union workforce tends to be. Guys Unions are ruining this country - how can you justify a a fitter on a production line earning $50-70 an hour wages when all he does is repetitive work - it's crazy!

  • @bison25 How DARE you insinuate that teachers are "overpaid and undertalented"? Before you make such an ignorant blanket statement so OBVIOUSLY incorrect, try BEING a teacher for a while. Give up more lucrative careers to help kids, then get salary far below what your work merits, then put up with students as ignorant as you've been here and call YOU a "fucking bitch" for telling them to remove a hat...THEN deal with parents when kids fail and Mommy wants to blame you for Jr.'s faults!

  • @bison25 After all that, you listen to voters telling you we don't need referendums, and you bear the impertinent scum that call you an overpaid babysitter. I can't even imagine how much more impudent you would be without your education. These "overpaid babysitters" went to school, got degrees, paid for college and more, and now you're asking them to bear the cost of the recession too??? This country wouldn't RUN without educators!!! You're the one who's crazy here....

  • @hprissa Really? You made the PERSONAL DECISION " to go to school, get degrees, pay for college and more"! Listen to yourself, why would you be above bearing the cost of the recession. I'm not sure if you're arrogant or just ignorant... Are you aware of the many family's in your district that are struggling, but because you're an "educator"(so called public servant) you're to good to share the burden? Are you even aware of who you actually work for? Shame on the you for your selfish greed!

  • @aaaaa0000000000 FYI, you're the one who's ignorant, you impudent pig. I'm SEVENTEEN. Not a teacher! Yes, teachers make the personal decision to teach, provide a future for YOUR children, help EVERYONE'S communities. Grow up. There are plenty of teachers who are struggling too. Quit trying to compare them to unskilled labor, because, even though their incomes may not indicate it, teachers are PROFESSIONALS. You would never say this to a doctor opposed to higher income tax. So quit deriding them.

  • @hprissa Wisc. Teachers... A fine example of professionalism in Madison. "You would never say this to a doctor opposed to higher income tax. " What are you talking about? Of course I wouldn't, because I too am opposed to higher income tax. When you grow up and get a job and actually pay taxes, maybe we can have a debate. Highly unlikely though, you would have to visit the Wizard of OZ,so you could ask him for a brain!

  • Finally waking up. Brings tears to my eyes.

  • @futuristspeaker YES yu will wake up with a devasted country. Wis and most other states are broke. The country is broke. So keep crying. KEEP SPENDING too. I got physical SILVER. I hope these OVERPAID useless teachers strike till June 1st.

I GOT SILVER because these baby teachers are picketing per OBAMAS command

I LOVE IT. Keep spending you make me rich

  • American Labor Unions: Putting Children Out of Work Since 1935.

  • If you have more coverage like this you should post it and share it!!! These types of wide angle shots are not making it to CNN. The protests are organized and much bigger than being reported. Its really sad this isn't being reported for what it is, taking away collective bargaining rights that people fought for for years is a huge deal. People are very angry. To disguise it as fiscal responsibility is a joke and an insult.

  • Down with "Hosni" Walker

  • It's starting...

    Let's get the ball rolling!

  • i have a lot of friends that have been trying to go into teaching and from them i have learned something. you people that think teachers have it easy are flat out WRONG. Why don't you fuckers go and talk to some actual people and see what their plight is all about. So go and fuck yourself if you're commenting against teachers unions you pieces of shit.

  • @pseizure2000 Thank you! I have been waiting SO LONG to hear that people realize how much teachers give and how hard they work. It's good to hear someone appreciates teachers!!!

    VOTE NO!

  • @pseizure2000 I'm gonna go ahead and assume you learned vocabulary in a "Public School"....

  • @aaaaa0000000000

your comment is superfluous. you stupid shit.

  • @pseizure2000 Public sector unions are "superfluous", and quite a few teachers could fall under that same catagory! "you stupid shit." Obviously, you are the product of a public education!

  • @pseizure2000 WI teachers make 100,000 in yearly benefits. NO YOU GO FUCK YOURSELF> Mayb your friend is having a hard time because they are stupid like you

  • @PatriotWatchUSA

It's actually about 50k, and that's only for secondary school teachers. Learn your facts from someone other than rush limbaugh you jarring fen-sucked coxcomb of a cunt.

  • @pseizure2000 Ooops wrong again. Go readit is in several publications

Heres another fact for you progressive

2/3 of Wisconsin 8th graders cant read with proficiently. ACCORDING TO US Department of EDUCATION....

Fire all these bastards and the DOCTORS who wrote notes.

    You need more facts

THEY TAKE HOME 100,000 in in SALAREY AND BENEFITS- FACT for 180 days of ART TIME WORK

  • @pseizure2000 fuck you you fucking worthless turd! You bitches work for me the tax payer...and I say you suck ....you are over paid and you do a lousy job! If your an MPS teacher shame on you! Just look at the turds you produce...they cant even read or write and you think you deserve anything but mass termination??? I say the money spent on your salary should go to build jail because you are all a great big fail! Where else do we pay more and more for less and less! pathetic!

  • @pseizure2000 Looks like your cat is lazy just like teachers are...

  • And, by the way, teacher (and other public worker) retirements are what they are becasue they put in 25-40 years at a $35,000 to $45,000. Those retirements were given to them in lieu of higher salaries.

  • I am not a member of a union, but I fully support all workers' rights to collective bargaining. You should, too. All workers need someone to speak up for their best interests. Wisconsin has a rich history of worker rights, and Walker and his ilk are seeking to destroy that.

  • @cmp31671 When has "Public Service" ever been so sweet ? Something needs to be done to cut the budgets in many states and really what role does National Teachers Unions have in Public Education?Where is the benefit for our children? Why are Public Schools still failing, even after districts have thrown all kinds of money at the problem with the same result? I understand Teachers should be paid well, but they are no longer Public Servants when the become a burden to the districts tax payers!

  • @aaaaa0000000000 I am a teacher and I have never been anyone's servant. I don't need to say anything more because you clearly get all your information from Fox News. Good Bye.

  • @cmp31671 I figured you were a teacher, only spoiled educators(some of them) think the way you do. There was a time when teachers actually cared about the kids, instead they only care about the sweet deal they have! Why do you suppose homeschooling has become so popular? My wife has a Masters in Education, the difference is she knew what her disrict's average income was and knew she was paid well for the district we lived in. I'm glad you're not teaching my kids, you sound like a pompous ass.

  • @cmp31671 No the tax payer is YOUR servant

  • @cmp31671 and who will speak up for the tax payers who currently pay 100,000 in teacher benefits yearly. How does a non-union worker trying to make ends meet counter their tax going up year after year. How is that done. So you support the public sector walking off their jobs till they get what they want by TAXING THE FUCK out of the true working man. How does your brain work.

SoTAX payers. PEOPLE WHO OWN HOMES have ZERO say in their tax?

  • PS: I'm more upset that the embarrassing LOW and laughable view count on this is going up every time I come back. But it's low enough I know the connected people of that frozen (unlike mine) broke and arrogant state (like mine) won't be here to see this anyway. We have tenured teachers who STILL don't know how (or refuse) to use a computer much less PowerPoint, SmartBoards and other tools to make their "work" easier and (research shows) more impacting on students.

  • High cost of tuition is soaked up by the administration. Non union people think it's business entitlement to have the big checks.... who keeps the business running? TEACHERS!!! Without teachers... there is no education... If you care about your child's education.... pay the teachers. It's all about your employees. If they're not happy... guess what... your paycheck will dictate that. I'm pro business. I run my own. My guys deserve to be paid well.

  • @ShallowGroundDrummer When you consider all the perks of being a teacher, 10 month contracts for a liveable wage, life time retirement, etc...while they might not be at the top of the list, their reward is later, at retirement that goes FAR and AWAY beyond most of their neighbors. I'm thrilled you pay your employees well, but I seriously doubt that YOU contribute to their retirement at the levels that the public employees receive...I've done the research, and VERY few get what we get as govt em

  • The benefits of public employees is outragous!!! Govt employees should pay for their own retirement! Everyone pays for their own retirement, except a public employee! I wish i could be paid to protest because i disagree with what the govt is doing!! Maybe all those educated union members should be in a room trying to solve the budget problem instead of chastizing someone elses work because they dont like to take cuts, those people are the ones that say cut yours not mine! Selfish bastards!!!

  • @chevman2448

Govt employee never said they were unwilling to give concessions on their retirement plan. Perhaps you should discuss the issue at hand ---> taking away their ability to collective bargaining before go off on a misinformed and misplaced rant?

  • @comidoki My "Rant" is spot on and is completely factual. Govt empoyees have been abusing the system for decades. Your just pissed someone is willing to speak the truth.

  • @comidoki Perhaps they should offer that rather than just say "you can't/shouldn't/won't take that away"....now there's a discussion. What solution to the state budget issues and challenges HAVE they offered? Where are their proposals? Geez, get a clue, they sound like whining little kids who will stomp and throw tantrums until they get what they want and have NEVER YET offered to be a part of the solution. THAT IS THEIR PROBLEM, not the government who's trying to solve it w/o seeing same.

  • @comidoki Funny, I haven't seen one report about the concessions other than forgoing raises (like the rest of the country that IS employed) for a while. Where DO they want to cut and how come they aren't saying THAT in their megaphones?

  • @comidoki Who does the collective bargaining for the tax payer paying for these babies?

  • @honeychapstick Your news said 40% of the teachers called in sick, shutting down the schools today...Your Journal Sentenial must be as stupid as I am since that's where I got that information. Wow, didn't realize they exempted some, but then again, your teachers must not put their life on the line to work like my wife does in her district.

  • Egypt? No Wisconsin. Polaris closed a factory sent jobs to Mexico. Harleyt oipened a factory in India. WAit till GOP cuts social security, it will make the old Viet Nam protests look small scale.

  • I support my brothers and sisters in WI. I ask all workers and families across this country to stand up and loudly say "NO" to the attacks on collective bargaining rights. We must stop this NOW. This is only the beginning and I will do all I can to stand with workers across this country to regain their right to organize.

  • @wjh2007 Workers across the country? You mean union workers. Fuck them. Im tired of paying for their retirement

  • Other states are watching ours to see if it will pass so they may take the rights away from their people. This bill can't be passed.

  • @MrBordon26 Collective Bargaining for "the Peopes Money" is NOT A RIGHT dummy

  • @MrBordon26 OH THIS BILL WILL PASS BECAUE THAT IS WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT. Collective Bargaining is right. BOY you liberals cant do anything for yourself

  • I was at this. You don't get the scale of it really until you see it from above. It's incredible!

  • @zzand652 Could you see the bussed in union members from up there so it looks BIGGER. Could you see those FAKE ass doctors and those Nazi teachers getting notes? When you were up there did you see all the communist showing up to pass out their literature to those progressive Marxist teachers.

    Party is almost over

  • @PatriotWatchUSA Oh yes, All those bused in Union members and fake doctors and Nazi teachers. You have seen a few too many episodes of Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck, friend. Oh yes, those communist pamphlets were everywhere, I must have just missed them. (please note sarcasm)

  • are they all on lunch? do they have short Fridays? Wow...Can't believe that many essential workers could take the day off....must not be that important to running the state.

  • @scottehammer - hahahaha you're so funny! Yeah, get back to work slackers! Ha hahaha everything's a big joke! hahahah

    FUCK

    OFF

    YOU

    FUCKING

    PRICK

  • @wincekthomas You think you're essential wincek? Your language and lack of intelligence shows, as does your postal attitude. I wasn't laughing and find the attitudes of most union members toward THEM being entitled and damn all other private and local public workers be damned...as long as you get yours, screw the rest. You guys are spending too much time in the snow. Come out here to CA where the weather's better while our state goes broke and does some of the same things soon enough.

  • @wincekthomas Typical response from a communist

  • @scottehammer Uh...it's Wednesday, not Friday. The Madison public schools were shut down today, so about 600 high schoolers were there, plus their teachers, plus parents, plus retired workers, plus exempted workers (firefighters and cops) who came to support those who AREN'T exempt from this ridiculous "budget" bill, plus non-state employees who either had the day off already or called in, plus college students who either didn't have class or decided this was a better use of their time...

  • @honeychapstick My wife is a teacher, and I'm retired from education, and like MOST states, I'm nervous as well since my retirement, though lower than I'd hoped, still gives my wife and I a life-long medical plan and income, and much more than the majority of working Americans can say. I must be dyslexic so I'm probably entitled to more "special needs/disability" money since I mixed up the year with the date. Wednesday makes it worse for me. Was it a scheduled day off?

  • @scottehammer Have you considered that, given wages haven't budged after inflation adjustment for 30 years, and corporate profits in the same time have gone up dramatically, that the average worker should be angry at his boss for paying him to little, rather than angry at unions for being paid to well?

  • @zegermans750 You should do some research on your facts. "Corporate" profits may be up, but the SMALL percentage of people working for those corporations (nationally) have NOT kept pace with whatever inflation adjusted rate you're using. The MAJORITY of Americans do NOT work for "large" corporations, nor are they the overpaid CEOs and officers, but rather work for SMALL BUSINESS (under 500 employees). Ask around, see if they've had the same insulting "increases" as the unions. You're ahead

  • @zegermans750 by the way, that's BS to say union wages have not been adjusted in 30 years....Just do a graph on the union presidents' and VPs' salaries....you might be surprised...I know I was in my Master's program.

  • @honeychapstick Oh you counted 600 high school students and the college kids decided their parents money was better spent picketing something they KNOW nothing of and DOES NOT AFFECT THEM. Plus communist groups from around the country

  • @PatriotWatchUSA Just so you know the communist and nazi parties fought the unions. They wanted to spread the wealth but did not want safe working environments. They did not want an organized group to tell them they could not just shot their workers if they had a problem. Based on your arguments I bet you still think Hitler killed more Jews than Stalin. You should try learning your facts before calling a union supporter a communist or Nazi because both of those parties were against unions.

  • @scottehammer Now do you see where the numbers came from? They're VITAL to running the state, every single one of them (why do you think we came out to support them?) and to imply or say otherwise is just plain stupid. Think a little harder next time before you post.

  • @honeychapstick Love the example of integrity the union members have to lie in order to get paid to protest, keep their life-long income and 10 working year with a decent wage in a guaranteed (tenured) job. Ask your neighbors how many of them have that, as I have NO sympathy for the arrogance and entitlement assumptions the unions demonstrate

  • @scottehammer hmmmm......that person that lied must be working for a non union employer and was their protesting for a family member or something. Because I think that it would only be an non union employee that would worry about getting fired for protesting.

  • @PblcWrkr The teachers who lied about being sick ARE union members...you're right, MOST of Americans don't have that same right to be paid to take time off without using sick days or whatever...that's because the MAJORITY of Americans work for Small Business (under 500 employees) and have NO WHERE NEAR the protections or benefits that unions provide to unproductive employees who work along side highly qualified ones, because they BOTH get protected to continue the sick cycle.

  • @PblcWrkr You are paid to be at work. If you want to protest YOU SHOULD GET NO PAY> Another thing you stinky bitch. If we were all union YOUR UNION JOB WOULD NOT MEAN SHIT. A number one with cheese woud cost you $7.88 IDIOT. What good would that union job be? BOY OBAMA care is gonna be great that al you losers supported BUT YOU ARE ALL EXEMP now. THANKS AGAIN UNIONS FOR FUCKING THE PEOPLE

  • @PblcWrkr PAY YOUR own retirement you lazy fuck union member. KEEP STEALING FROMTHE PEOPLE> Just remember the "PEOPLE" are mad at GOVERNMENT. YOU ARE CONSIDERED GOVERNMENT> I wold be careful. Your job and BENNIES are on the line as they should be

  • @scottehammer Tenured? Faculty, maybe, but what about all other state employees? My mother is academic staff. They could let her go whenever they want. She is criminally underpaid for what she does (statistically) but it is made up for with the benefits state employees receive.

Also the vast majority of people I have talked to say they are willing to take pay cuts--they just want to keep their collective bargaining rights. Basic workers' right. Ask FDR.

  • @mrrreeowww This thread became one about the teachers who called in sick and shut down the schools, lying to their employer, their students, and causing further financial hardship to the state/local districts. I too was academic staff, employed by will and only wished I could take the pay "cut" to become faculty and work their hours, 10 months a year, with their life-long benefits and tenure. Statistics don't matter. If she's underpaid then go to where they do pay better (statistically).

  • @mrrreeowww The benefits received by these union members are embarrassing and FDR would turn over in his grave to see union expectations and demands made today. The purpose of the unions was to stop abuse and collective bargain for fair wages, benefits and working conditions. That's not the case today. They have higher wages and benefits, better working conditions (than nonunion) and STILL aren't happy. Their greed and arrogance, as well as their demands have risen quicker than the lawsuits.

  • @mrrreeowww There's no sense, purpose or reason for them today but for greed and the continued perceived view of their value and the brainwashing of the members to think they deserve something more than someone that can do their job better, quicker and cheaper and STILL earn a living wage and decent benefits. These lawsuits and tort minded, entitlement trained workers have gone far beyond BASIC workers' rights and made that phrase laughable to average American who can't have the same opportunit

  • @scottehammer Best comment on the page. Hmmm state ran ok without these people didnt.

  • Dear Scott Walker,

For lack of a better word. Suck it!

The teachers have taught you, not it's time to stand up for them and everyone else Scott Walker is going to hurt with this bill.

    Kill the bill!!

  • UNION YES!!!!

  • Search for "Wisconsin delinquent revenue" and see how much uncollected tax revenue is out there. $83 million from the top 100 alone!

What was that about "sacrifices" again? The governor can get back to us, the people who actually pay the taxes they owe, about wage and benefit concessions AFTER he's made the deadbeats settle up.

  • Yes we can.

  • I'm in there! Somewhere, lol! Kill the bill!

  • I'm an alum, Walker has to be stopped

  • @cleme124 I wish you progressives would. Im praying that Wis and several other states fail because I own physical SILVER bitch. So keep blaming corporations and bank for BAD government. I LOVE IT you are making me rich. SO YES tax those fat rich people so there will be less jobs and the price of SILVER will continue to climb

  • Wow ..we were in there somewhere!

  • @samortpor State workers traditionally take less in salary for increased benefits. If you spent ANY time reading on the subject you might find yourself on the side of workers instead of Scott Walker's. This is a class war, started by the rich, against the rest of us. Don't be a tool.
