To everyone talking about him lipsynching: This performance was on a German TV show. Declan has said himself that it is German law that people under a certain age cannot sing live on TV after a certain hour. Lipsynching is NOT his choice. It is the law, so the TV company won't let him sing live. He says himself that if he could choose, he would ALWAYS sing live, but sometimes he is not allowed to. He is amazing and he would sing live all the time if the TV companies would let him.

His producers, and his voice instructor are not ruining his voice, they are helping to protect his voice for the future. Most boy singers are taught to sing more nasal to portect their vocal cords while they go through puberty. He had an amazing voice as a kid, and as a man, I believe he will have the most powerful voice in a lifetime. He is not your tipical performer of any age. Declan Galbraith is not "here today, gone tomorrow." He is here to stay!

Declan is a British kid of Irish and Scottish parentage. He's been performing since he was 8. I think this was filmed when he was 12. He's now 15, and his voice has begun to change. I like the new voice even more.
