@lfc023 Meireles is class. took a while to settle in, but look at him now, he orchestrates the midfield and always delivers tidy, clean passes. he also has the ideas to create, which liverpool has lacked for a while now, since the loss of Alonso. Aquilani showed signs of it last year, but Meireles is beginning to get into his own element, and now has a couple of astonishing goals to his name. YNWA.

From what I have seen, Raul is the perfect player for Liverpool, and someone who will become a legend at Liverpool...with the addition of Raul Meireles Liverpool may challenge for the title, as he will bring exactly what is needed, it's just a shame Roy didn't sell Lucas, because he is becoming a huge liability...we have some great options in midfield now, with Meireles, Gerrard, Cole, Poulson, Kuyt, Babel, Jovanovic etc...welcome to Liverpool Raul

lucas definitely needs to be sold, he does have his rare moments but he isnt consisent enough to play for liverpool. lucas isnt in the class of a title challenging team. after what i heard hodgson say about him when the press asked if he was gonna be sold, i believe if he is not sold in the january transfer window he will be gone by the end of the season.
