Actually, Mike Allen is a great reporter and a very decent person. John Ziegler is an ass.

Yea, sure sounded like it from his interview. He flails off the rails on mslsd, but when ask about specifics he crawfishes like a typical moron. Your defense of Allen, shows you are all for bashing the Palins for no apparent reason. So how about saving your tears, when others say bad things about you for no apparent reason.

1)I defend Allen because he is a sweet guy and an good reporter-Ziegler says as much at the beginning of this interview 2)Nothing I said revealed anything about my opinion of Palin. 3)if you listen to Allen or if read the articles that he's discussing the people bashing Palin are members of the McCain/Palin campaign and top Reps. The release of emails shows her to be a lying, narcissist. The sad truth is there is no apparent reason for your blind defense of her.

Ziegler was being nice, yea Allen sure sounded sweet as he was throwing the Palins under the bus. Then when confronted with his display of hypocrisy he folds like a cheap tent. If you were half as smart as Allen you would too. I have no blind defense, I would do the same for anyone. So much for your none opinion of the Palins.

Why is Ziegler an ass?? Because he calls out Allen on his obvious and blantant bias?! Ziegler DESTROYS this Mike Allen clown in this interview. Mike Allen has absolutely NO backing to his claims regarding Palin. Allen clearly called Palin a "circus act" on MSNBC, but then gets here and challenged by Ziegler and backs away and tries to squander out of what he said!

But please explain to me just how Ziegler is an ass?

He tries to get Allen to criticize the Vanity Fair article, which Allen won't do. Second, when Allen attempts to provide context for the "circus act" comment, Ziegler rudely interrupts. Third, when Allen attempts to explain the "study" comment, Ziegler once again interrupts. That's why he's an ass. He had a good reporter on his show and instead of talking about the merits of the articles and coming to grips with the facts, he wanted to yell at Allen for his descriptors and someone's reporting.

Ziegler interrupts Allen because Allen doesn't answer the questions that Ziegler is asking! Allen called Palin a "circus act" on MSNBC that morning, but when Ziegler asks him about it, Allen desperately tries to say he was calling the campaign a "circus act" which wasn't the case at all!! Allen doesn't answer the question directly and tries to dance around them besides NOT having ANY sources to back up his claims!!

Pull your head out of your ass and see what's REALLY going on here!!

What's going on is Sarah Palin just resigned her office because poor little Mike Allen called her a circus! LMAO!

I actually watched MSNBC that morning and Allen's interpretation is correct, and Allen was trying to give Ziegler a serious response, context. Ziegler wanted to bully Allen into a rhetorical space where Ziegler can go off on the MSM. That's why he's an ass. Ziegler himself admitted that Allen is a good reporter. He should have treated Allen with the respect he deserves.

Allen had NO sources to back up his claims, and DIDN"T answer the questions!! Ziegler wasn't being a "bully", he was trying to get Mike to answer the questions!!! Yes, Zielger did say Allen was good, but that doesn't mean Ziegler can't challenge Mike on his credibility as a reporter. Allen doesn't deserve any respect when he did what he did on MSNBC. Ziegler made Allen look like a dumbass!!!!

No you are wrong.. the very clip in which allen CLEARLY is referring to Sarah Palin's campaign as a 'circus act' is available on YouTube... watch it. Allen is a typical wimpy reporter who backs down or dances around like an idiot when called on the carpet. No credibility.

So let me get this straight, Mike Allen is a great reporter because he can not defend his own lies and Ziegler is an "ass" because he called him out on it. You must live in Bizzaro World!
