the audi a3 3,2l is a vw r32 motor, you research pls before talk, and you drive this car, do you know about what you are drive, loooool!!!!!i was 17years a vr6 freak!a r32 is a vr6 basis, you noob!
I have no idea what you are talking about. The A3 and R32 shares the same motor under the same platform. You are the one who said, and I quote "this is not a r32 motor in a a3!!!!!"
Or are you implying that my car is not a 3.2? Go to vwvortex (R32 or A3 forum) and do a search under my user name, you will find plenty of posts about my car.
Not to mention, if you know your stuff, you would know that only 3.2 A3 came with quattro (haldex) in 06-08. Look at the dyno, all 4 wheels are spinning. If I had a FWD, I wouldn't need to find an AWD dyno.
To reply to a few comments. It's not a S3 as someone said. S3 is 2.0T, this is a 3.2. But it does have the S3 kit on. I have moved on to Revo remap now. Much smoother power delivery (SPS+ selector is great for tinkering), and it seems like Technine isn't available anymore (not sure).
The numbers for Technine is on their web site, same goes with the Revo. The power gain is about the same. 10-15 hp gain (Crank).
It's not a "fake" S3 as I never claimed it was a S3 to begin with. I don't even have a S3 badge. It is however an A3 3.2 with a S3 front bumper/grill conversion.
what is the point of chipping a straight six? if you knew you were gonna chip it, why didn't you just buy the cheaper 2.0t and chip that, it would be faster and cheaper
I had a 2.0T before purchasing the 3.2. In 2006, the only option with the 2.0T was FWD. And I prefer quattro/haldex over FWD. The point of chipping a VR6 is mostly for throttle response and about 10HP, that's about it really.
With the chip alone, it's about 10hp give or take. (I'm talking about Revo, as I have moved on) With Neuspeed exhaust and HPA Stage 2 upgrade, I'm guessing I should be around 270 at the crank.
i think i saw ur car recently, u got an oettinger kit? it looks amazing in person
