This is a wonderful piece... thanks so much for sharing this music.
Does anyone know the instrument that is playing solo after some 5:00? It sounds like a harp or other kind of string instrument, and I really want to know which one it is.
Beautifully done! In several trips to Clonmacnoise I have tread these paths and marvelled at the choice of real estate of the founder so many hundreds of years ago. What a place. Your video does the place justice. Found this by accident - a great accidental find. Thank you for the video. It provides an easy way back to this wondrous place near Shannonbridge.
you have done an excellent job on this video. Thank you. You resist temptation to move camera a lot, and you make nice compositions. Very professional. GREAT MUSIC choices. Well done. Makes me want to visit there. I have never been - this really makes me want to work to get there. Thanks again.
Thank you for uploading this video for the world to enjoy. I found it as a friend from Germany asked me about Connie Dover and you have combined her beautiful song with some very fine footage of the ruins of Clonmacnoise that I visited on just such a sunny day a decade ago. Your video brought back happy memories and when the sun shines on Ireland it is a truly wonderful place to relax, enjoy the tranquillity, friendly folk, fine food and music.
This is beautiful and the choice of music superb. Our ancestral home is very near Clonmacnoise in Offaly. We are planning to visit for the first time in 2008. Thanks for the beautiful preview.
Thank you very much. The countryside is beautiful there and Clonmacnoise stands out even in a country full of incredible historical sites. We were there for hours wandering around and imagining what it would have been like over the centuries.

I love Connie Dover she has a crystal pure voice like Alison Krauss and Chole Agnew, but hasn't recieved the same kind of industry recognition... she even writes a lot of her own music!
Maybe I'm biased since I'm a Missouri girl too. :o)
I found Ubi Caritas on a Narada compilation called Celtic Spirit. It is the stand-out track on a fine compilation and it seemed perfect for Clonmacnoise. I am definitely going to look into picking up some more of her work. Thanks for the tip on Chloe Agnew, too (I already knew about Alison Krause:).

Failte a tutti.

Thanks for the translation (I'm happy I can understand Spanish), and the video. The song is bautiful. I placed it in my Favorites.
As for Connie, we all know she is a wonderful singer. That sums it all up, I think.
