Awesome video! The best i've seen. Pictures and videos rarely give you an idea of how big the gorge is, if you haven't seen it in person. Pause this video at 1:14 and look for the people in the center left of the screen and you can see how immense it is.
@adm458nelson Thanks for the comment! It probably has changed quite a bit since you were last in there because they re-made the walking path and have added some signs along the way that describe how the gorge was created.
Thanks for sharing this. My sister and I just came back from Watkins Glen. Unfortunately we didn't visit the state park. We visited a goat that my sister sponsors at the farm sanctuary. New York is such a beautiful state!!! We plan on going back next year and we will visit the state park. God bless
We went up April 5Th & it was closed, still ice on the trails even tho it was in the upper 70's! We did get to walk the Indian's Trail up to the cemetery, WOW! Nice views from there also. Will make it in May when the trails are dry..we will be bring good hiking shoes & a walking stick. I'll post some pix on you-tube also. Thanks.
@Sylvia441 Yeah, that's the one crazy thing about the gorge, it could be 95-100 degrees and it would still be very nice and cool inside, let me know when you put those pics up!
No.. I just had been in USA when I went to Pennsylvania and NYC.. But I found somethings about The George in the net and I liked.. It must be a so nice and beautiful place.. Did you come to Brazil anytime before?
@dannybrazil07 Nope, never been to Brazil (I would like to get there someday for a Formula 1 race), but in high school my senior year I had a friend named Jaos who was an exchange student up here for six months.
It's so cool.. I've been an exchange student in Cannonsburg, Pennsylvania already.. If someday you come to watch the Formula 1 race in Sao Paulo, tell me.. I live right there.. You'll be welcome to Brazil!! Maybe someday my dream of drive from NYC to LA comes true and so I'll know u!! Thanks, man!!

I live in Watkins Glen, this video perfectly depicts the park, no, the entire region's natural beauty

I was there some 40 or so years ago, still remember it quite vividly. You put together a very nice video. Maybe one day I will have to go back.
